This is definitely the sound of victory. Jake's hardcore style of music just blends so well with his combat style and it definitely keeps his troops motivated. In the next Advance Wars game maybe he will gain new abilities.

To be honest I liked Jake as a CO because of his playstyle and CO Power but the corny lines and jokes were a little annoying. But no, just IMAGINE he comes riding into battle, blasting this music as he send a whole battalion of mega tanks towards your forces with him in the front. I know he would do something like that.

I have yet to reenact this moment with my girlfriend too, she HATES when I build about eight megatanks. Once I get to where I can actually save up funds, I just focus on sending my current units out to buy time while I wait for funds to rise, then drop those bad boys on the field. And if I were to say what my fav CO team is, its Sasha/Rachel. I know this is a common one but I hate my gf for how she always uses Jess/Adder. That tank firepower and movement? STAY AWAY DEMON

@@AsterDXZ In my opinion Koal had the potential to be a deep character, many of his characteristics were similar to the style of the Yellow Comet nation, as if he was once part of it and was exiled and joined the Black Hole army, even in his theme he has a Motiff from the Kanbei theme, idk he had that potential, it also made sense why they paired him with the Kanbei clone later on the campaign.

@@AsterDXZ Koal has a discount version of Jake's Day to Day bonus, if Plains is a bad place to end your turn in, Roads are even worse. if you wanted to make every CO a high tier, Jake would make Plains 3 Def Stars and the same for roads with Koal (for starters if that still isn't enough)

I think that song is like Chrono Trigger's Time Circuits, it was written for a specific sound chip (in this case, the DS') and wouldn't sound as great with other instruments/remixes as it sounds on the original hardware. P.S.: This was one of the first songs i bootlegged right from my DS.

No, many remixes of random songs have been done with specific game soundfonts, Pokemon Black and White being the most common example, and even without the soundfont itself replicating the sound isn't that hard. It's just that if itwas played with actual instruments it would lose some of it's i-dunno-what.
