I remember being thrilled when, after Hawke switches sides, his Tag Power music turns into this one instead of Black Hole version. Such a nice little touch that really did feel like a redemption. Wish they gave you the option in other modes to use it though instead of his default black hole version.

Yeah the story decides which theme plays not based on the character and their army affiliation (as every other mode does), but rather based on which army uses it. If the enemy army is the Black Hole army, then no matter which CO they deployed, the Black Hole power themes will kick in, while any time you use a power the allied nations power themes will play. That way they managed to cheat the system and get the Black Hole power themes to play with Clone Andy, Olaf, Kanbei and Drake, while allowing Hawke and Lash to switch to the allied nations theme once they switch sides. However, this also means that when you play hard mode, any character you pick will have the allied nations power themes, even if you enter the fight as someone like Adder or Von Bolt.

@@DrewPicklesTheDark Eagle + Sami is generally considered the better tag since you generally use it in combination with T-copters, which then basically get three turns worth of movement. The move order is as follows: Start turn with Eagle in the lead. Move infantry three spaces into T-Copter. Move T-Copter six spaces. Initiate Tag Power. T-Copter can move again. Move T-Copter six spaces, unload infantry within five spaces of enemy HQ. CO Swap to Sami. Move infantry onto enemy HQ and capture. You're basically looking at 22 spaces of total movement with Earth and Sky, vs Adder/Sami's 10. Of course, Adder/Sami is still pretty strong and comes out a bit quicker (and you can spam Sideslip while you're waiting for Sami to charge).

I agree. I almost won more games from friends getting bored playing out a drawn out losing battle and giving up or the battery dying than actually winning the fight. Getting a Tag Power was a nice way to get them back into the fight and kicking my butt again. Also, predicting an enemy tag and getting the heck out of the way of it was a useful skill.

Loved playing Colin alongside Jess as his backup vs. the AI. Colin would always take the unit discount skills and spam units like crazy, pumping out an absurd number of neotanks. Then, when it was time to pop the Dual Strike, Colin with Power of Money would destroy the frontline while Jess with her extra movement and ground unit attack skills would push through and wipe out their reserves. Not exactly very skillful, but it was a huge power trip.

Earth and Sky is more imbalanced though. 130% bonus Lightning Strike gives 2 turns to non-infantry units. Make a way for a Tcopter with an infantry/mech towards enemy base and during the 2nd turn from Lightning strike, drop the infantry/mech. Tag with Sami, and again, clear the enemies if they block the HQ with all your non-infantry units. Then insta-capture with the infantry/mech.

But yeah, proper defensive positioning may stop the insta-win strategy of Earth and Sky. Still, having the ability to insta-win if used at the right time, Earth and Sky is one of the most broken Tags.

Hachi's Bombers and Neotanks can cost up to only 8000 g and his Megatanks can presumably only cost 10000 g with this Sale Price = -5% cost Fire Sale = -8% cost Barter = -50% cost So with all of those discounts, Hachi can reach a whopping -63% discount. Insanity. Note: His passive and COP/SCOP doesn't stack, this is common knowledge, but still. (You can say that his COP/SCOP reduces cost by 40% instead but considering it says "cuts the cost of troops by half", I'd just remove his Passive entirely. Which is sad. (And yes, with Colin, he can have a day to day 33% cost reduction, which is even more crazy, considering this is a day-to-day power)

you know there is strat to team breaking is simply by who leads a few combos must be done in a certain way like sami and eagle ,eagle must lead and sasha and coiln ,sasha should lead adder and grimm ,adder must lead you get the point its obvious some characters must start the break to be efficient

To be fair, if you see your opponent pick Sami/Eagle, it's kinda a given they're probably going to attempt it.
