Man, these lectures are a whole world in it of themselves. So relaxing but such a brain tease as well. I remember watching you're videos way back when I started learning english not even what, 4 years ago? Decided to watch one again today, they way you lecture is masterful my friend. The covenant actually refers to an agreement between God and his people. The reference to blood in this instance refers to the blood of animals who were offered as sacrifices to God. It is true that a covenant is a type of agreement but 1) people do not seal agreements between them with a blood sacrifice and 2) in sacred writings the agreement between God and his people is often referred to as "the" covenant.
