Hi Ben! What a riveting lesson! "Loose lips sink ships" ("el que tiene boca se equivoca"), but if you keep doing videos like this we'll end up like "brother from another mother" ("coleguitas"). Thanks to you I'll try to be "on it like a car bonnet" (try to have English under control), and I'll "fake it till I make it" (I'll try to get an acceptable pronunciation in English) , because if "you snooze you loose" (el que se va a Sevilla pierde su silla"), I'll be here every single day to follow your outstanding performances. (You may think "what a weird comment!" 😱, but I'm just trying to use these funny expressions, which I really liked) 😁

Nice !!! The Italian for " loose lips sink ships" is maybe: " (keep) water in (your) mouth!". = Acqua in bocca!

Thank you for this video, Ben! 'Fake it till you make it' is such a brilliant one that it does not need any example to be conceived. I use it a lot, although there is no analog in my native language. You shouldn't get along with people who tend to loose lips sink ships: they are likely to spill your secrets! In Russian, it might be... 'A chatterbox is a godsend for a spy'? 'Bolt'un nah'odka dl'ya shpi'ona' (Болтун находка для шпиона)

In Chile ' you snooze, you lose' is 'Camarón que se duerme, se lo lleva la corriente' (refering to sth or an opportunity ) ; ' el que fue a Melipilla perdió su silla '( refering to a place, spot) Fake it till you make it ' has no correlative expression that I know. 'On it like a car bonnet' is ' de ahí somos'./ 'ya tamos' .

🤩🤩🤩 How nice rhymes dear Ben. I loved it. Thank you so much. Down here in Brazil, we have got "Bobeou, dançou" which has got exact the same meaning of "you sooze it, you loose it". This very moment, I am in a dilema with myself and the classroom. I do not feel confident enough to teach, even the very basic and to use the rhyme, "fake it till you make it", does not fit my face expression for I do not know how to bluff. 😣😣😣

In Portuguese and not about rhyme, the expression "a brother of another mother", we have "he's a friend of chest."

No, that expression is for boys/men. As mentioned in a previous comment, women can say "sister from another mister", but that's not as good... in my opinion 🙂
