The cheap way to do that is basically the mannequin challenge. If you film it really fast and then slow down the footage, it'll look pretty decent

Ry another source of weapons is to use blank adapted guns. While marginally less safe due to the fact that they are real guns, these guns sound more realistic (because they are real weapons adapted for blank fire or blank firing weapons that use a 9mm blank charge to operate the blow back). Most of the movies like Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers and The Pacific, used blank firing weapons.

Hey Ryan, great video! Concerning any muzzle ideas that you proposed. I was thinking if I use my wireless flash for my camera. triggering that (possibly even gelling it to an appropriate color) could make a really neat effect. If that fails, you could always use it as a substitute for lightning storm =)
@RumleKjaer11 жыл бұрын

@DanielS200113 жыл бұрын
@DKC1011 Well, it's really hard to answer that particular question, because it depends on the person. Keep in mind that Quentin Tarantino didn't go to film school, his film education being watching movies at the video store he used to work at and taking the Dov S-S Simens' 2-Day Film School seminar. Kevin Smith went to film school, but never completed it. Many of the more recognizable names, such as Spielberg, Lucas and so on, did go to film school.

Pro tip: Remember the mask that goes beneath everything and was blurred? Afterf applying just a little bit blur add a turbulence field and animate it 3 frames. That's the way they do it in video games, and it works especially good on machine guns.

Not sure if Ryan will see this or not, but when you track the scene for the smoke from the gunshot, you're tracking the smoke to the gun or what? If I'm walking and shooting a gun like a mofo, does the smoke follow the gun or does it stay where I fired the gunshot?
