Hello Mayra Arroyo! My name is Alfredo, I live in Cuba and teach English at a university here. You called my attention when I read your comment to Wes two months ago because there is a town called Cifuentes here in my province in Cuba too, so at first I thought you were Cuban but then I learnt you live in Guatemala. May be you are interested in writing to me. If so, let me know and I will send you my E-mail. Thank you for reading this message. Yours, from Cuba, Alfredo.

I recall seeing a phase using "slip up" in Wonder Woman 1975 TV series. Lynda Carter quoted: "You see, you didn't get rid of me after all. You slipped up. That´s what usually happens at the beginning of the end". Here it is her emblematic wonder woman short video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hajNaYqDiZaAac0

Excellent content, with examples in context. Please do lots videos like this one, with other prepositions. After all, there are so many phrasal verbs. Can you also explain the preposition's role? When do you use " up", and why isnt it "out", or "down"? I think that understanding the meaning of the preposition is key. After all, we do say, get up, get off, get away, get in, get on, get along, get out. So it is obviously the preposition that matters more than the verb itself. I think phrasals are fascinating. And that they are something that establishes the fine line between a native and non native. A non native will never truly master them, I think. But I love them regardless.

I'm going tell a story about my life using walk up : Last month, after class my friend seemed really dejected so l walked up to her and asked her what was wrong and my heart sank when she told me that her brother passed away a few days ago ,and she told me that she has been feeling blue for the last couple days. "Is it correct to use this phrasal verb in this context?"😊
