I like your voice and your attitude. I'm handicapped and I usually HATE being YELLED at. You sound like a friend that I could be hanging out with. I have NO TROUBLE AT ALL learning from you I appreciate the time that it takes you to record these videos. So.... I'm handicapped, 68 years young, and I'll never stop writing and recording. I'm no longer trying to become rich and famous. I simply want to get the best recordings that I can for the songs that I write.Your helping me to do that and I give you deep, deep thanks. Remember: If it's too loud, then you're too old. Stay Safe. Jay

dude, what a powerful feature, to be able to copy individual instrument from any track to any other. I did it just now after watching you demo this, and holy crap...it's very easy to do and so powerful. Man I recall trying to find just the right track for what I was working on, and didn't realize that I can merge stuff together from these tracks. Awesome.

I'm trying to now, learn the damn software, and create a Purdie Shuffle in it. The closest I've gotten is a swing, 6/8... close, but no cigar.

Hey Shootie, Great Video series, I have watched all of them 2 or 3 times and taken notes. It has been most helpful. I have one question, somewhere in the videos I thought that I saw were you could drop, say a fill, in the middle of a track and that ED2 would automatically insert it, and it would preserve the length of the track, and you would not have to cut and insert. I have searched through the videos and cannot find where this was said... Am I hallucinating? PS: Toontracks should absolutley be paying for your effort...

That's great to hear, I appreciate you commenting. I used the Song Creator for this, but know that it works with any midi file dragged from any location... kzbin.info/www/bejne/ioqqd3iuf9Zlldk

I believe this is what I'm looking for. Example: I have a conga part for the verse of the song. Then at the chorus I want to use a trap (kick & snare) with ride cymbal. Then revert back to the verse setup again. This incorporates two different packs (Latin & Modern/Vintage). Can I use two different drum packs? Haven't got this to shift yet. Thanks! Great videos!
@ShootieSchool4 жыл бұрын
You certainly can. When mixing different toontrack EXZ packs you will hear unnatural dynamic shifts when combining them back to back. Adjust these dynamics per midi block using the Velocity Slider in the top of the Search/Browser Tab or use the Edit Play Style window. I have vids for each of those features if you’re not familiar. Comment back if you need.
@ShootieSchool4 жыл бұрын
... or put a midi block from one EZX in the son GB track, and copy and paste elements from another EZX midi file from your browser/search tabs. Use Edit Play Style to massage the new and different sounding instruments together. Thanks for saying, btw.
