The history of taekwondo and Karate are tied together sometimes in a web that is hard to differentiate which one is which. Karate in Japan came from previous Chinese styles and some forms even look like Kung Fu. Then it spread to Korea. So this school is a taekwondo school that has a history in American Karate. It’s a tad bit confusing but the more you dig the more interesting it becomes.
