There is any way to play 2v2 with only AI ? I have kids so I need to be able to save and resume later, or I may be forced to leave and that's not good for another human player (or me since I want to be able to resume and not to just waste my city).

3 woodcutters 2 sawmills and 2 stonecutter/mines, then autobuild and have fun. btw toolsmith with berrys is a easy moneymaker with harbor

​@@devinwilson1526 That argument is so wrong and you don't even know it. When you release a game, it's done.. Anything that happens afterwards is icing on the cake. A games faults shouldn't be excused by the possibility of them patching it later. Beyond that.. go argue with them

there is no game speed level setup? the game is quite slow, going to midgame takes 40 minutes :/

I play the game atm, i like strategy games so its quitr a good break from cod etc, its an interesting game, campaign is simple, story is bleak but not complaining, buildings arent well explained...thats something you gotta figure out on the fly but i like the feel of it, some say its an age of empires rip off, well its called graphics, most games have the same graphics and style. I found this game only a few days ago and binge played it, it can be quite addictive

You stripped down the entire game. Everything that made the Settlers has been ripped out.. How is it possible that Settlers from 1998 has more depth than this? You even sell in game boost for real money... Shame on you

Super shallow product, Not even finished one - to be honest. They didn't give game to reviewers, no marketing -thats means only 1 thing- "we need release this silently to not make impact on Stock Market and cut the expenses of production. People must buy enough copies before they realize that this is crappy product, and there always will be bunch of ppl spending few bucks on microtransations." AI is almost non-existing. Economy for 4yo. Researches- you dont need them. Logistics - you can have fun with it but to some degree. One nice aspect of this game are buidlings- i mean, visaully - cool idea, changing look of residences when combining them.

Ill review this, the game is actually fun, the play is in depth, but not ridiculously annoyingly in depth. However the game has some major major faults that NEED to be addressed. 1. some maps let 1 player start in an area that has access to fish, while the other does not, this creates a HUGE imbalance in the early game and can lead to you losing easily because your opponent can boost his resources, and you cannot. 2. locking down the resources needed to make military units behind creeps...that you need military units to defeat...is an idiotic idea. At the very least you should allow us to lead those creeps to a tower to get them killed, but they also rubberband back! Thats just bad design. 3. I cannot stress this enough, especially because the devs have stated they dont intend to change it, teammates NEED TO BE ABLE TO TALK TO EACH OTHER. yes i used all caps because hopefully a dev or someone with authority will grow a brain and read this and freaking understand that in order for a group to coordinate in a STRATEGY GAME, they have to TALK to each other. currently there is NO possible way to actually get your point across to the other players! No pings, no chat, no voice chat, literally NOTHING. So, i give this currently a 2/5 stars purely for those reasons, and a large part of that is the utter stupidity in designing a strategy game for multiplayer...with no intention of allowing communication between players. I would literally love to get in the morons face who thought that up and slap them into next week because they do NOT belong in a gaming studio period.

I got my refund after the first hour - total trash I have played the OG settler 1 to 4 as everything else after was not settlers. This just feels empty

You lie and deceive us gamers Ubisoft and should be ashamed of yourselves. This game is so basic that none of what you describe and mention is necessary to win. Don't need to feed anyone so farms are bogus, don't need to pay anyone so currency is useless and you don't need to upgrade anything at all because the threats are a joke. No effort at all was attempted for gameplay development. It is a soulless, boring key jingling pretty game.

Have you actually played the game? Currency is for trading with the harbour and upgrades in the academy, food is also for upgrades and it reduces the time for new settlers to arrive, if buildings were to be upgraded, it would take 10+ hours to upgrade a few things, actually play it and try to understand how it works rather than try it for a few minutes then claim you know everything about it

The game is full of bugs that cause it to crash and close. Hopeless!
