Book Recommendation! 📚
The book I recommend in this video is called "Where’d you go, Bernadette?" by Maria Semple. It is a hilarious novel about change in a woman's life - perfect to practise vocabulary about change and lots of informal, slang expressions!
This book is challenging - great for upper-intermediate to advanced level English learners!
Download the audiobook here: www.audibletrial.com/mmmEnglish & listen to the pronunciation and natural expression as the story is read to you!
Or grab the book here amzn.to/2sRIwun and curl up somewhere comfortable to read it!
Read the full transcript of this lesson on my blog here: www.mmmenglish.com/2018/06/06...

Thanks a million! You are the one I look up to. You have filled me in on a dozen of phrasal verbs ranging from come over, drop off, drop in on to give in and turn up. I have also got to know such idioms as jump ship, bite off more than one can chew, hit the road, itchy feet, have somebody wrapped around the finger. And via this video I have boosted my knowledge in terms of words related to changes either: 1. She had to change tune in order to bring life into her occupation. Otherwise, she would still be desk-bound and snowed under. 2. Had not she met him, she would have never had a change of heart and gone into this profession 3. So as to rush headlong into your hobby, I urge you to have a change of scene 3. Whenever you experience a huge dip in your confidence, a chance of pace is deemed crucial

Me and my friend have decided to travel this summer vacation to Canada, recently he has changed his mind to travel to Russia for World Cup matches, he said we need to change the scenery this time, when he told me that he realized that I’ve changed my tune about the whole matter, ( because he didn’t take my opinion) , in my way back to home my dad asked me what’s wrong! I told him nothing maybe I need to change of pace, he said okay but if you’ve changed of heart you can call me and explain what happened.

Mustafa Jawad Don’t say (me and my friend) because me is an object pronoun, so in this case you are the subject in addition to your friend and should use the subject pronoun which is I instead of Me. Also the sentence should begin with: my friend and I......etc.
