I will try talking about everything you need to know in the early stages of the game, and how to drone up properly. In this Part i am explaining most of the basics so i will only cover Oracle first with an early 3rd Base. I will upload the 2nd Part tomorrow!

The idea of looking for proxy gate nearer the main base is even applicable to Protoss and Terran, as they'll go for pylons or depots. Nice stuff.

You've heard what Lambo said 2:29 so JUST DO IT!!! MAKE YOUR DREAM ABOUT NATURAL BASE COME TRUE!! 🔥🔥😆 btw I've easy won today against stargate opening. Simply if you see warpgate is late (mean it will not beready at 4;00) you make baneling boost. Those greedy bastards often don't even build stalker or battery (stalker is best defence) so even void ray can't defend this.

Lambo and other Zerg players, I've got something that's been bothering me as Zerg - isn't Hatch first very greedy and prone to early aggression, i.e 4Gate or some Robo push? I always find myself outnumbered in army count, I probably drone too much/tech too much or don't get enough army but Protoss can push at around 3:50-4:00 if 4 Gate, right? How do you defend this? Thanks a lot for the answers and the videos, love the education. Gold pleb here.

Lambo already made a video for proxy 4 gate and if you know they are only 1 base you can build spines or roaches to defend

It's not greedy whatsoever you can even hold such a build easier with Hatch first because you have early speed and more Larva. You can simply realise your opponent doesnt have a natural with your first overlord and then stop mining gas and making Ling Spine Queen on 2 base off anywhere between 22-30 drones. You can even just kill the proxy pylon more often than not. If you tech at all against a one base build then you tech too much, i highly doubt you make too many drones even without watching any replays.

Seems familiar with what I do, but only if I play a better opponent, which is when I allow myself to take risks. Scouting with the lings make perfect sense. Seems like I do make 1 queen less, as my 4th queen is once the 3rd finishes. But it does make me feel many times with the 3rd queen at 32 that I don't make enough drones (and I'm trying to skip / delay spores vs better opponents). I guess I would start going roach SH if I go for it and its not double SG void ray. I hope hydra bane is also covered, as I don't think there are many other options vs double SG void ray, apart for queen walks or rush the late game.

How about maps like Oxide and Jaganatha where its hard to see hat the 2nd unit is, because its hard to hide the overlord in case its a stalker. What is a good way to spot what the 2nd unit is to make the judgements whether I make 2 additional pairs of lings or not? Some times early adepts get a lot of my drones because I'm on 2-3 lings at home, but making 8 blind lings seems as an overkill.

How exacly do you know at what drone count you stop, how do you do such calculations?

I play against players that play everything very optimized, so i can simply try different dronecounts and see which one fits perfectly.

yes, 150 minerals is a big investement. You delay 3 drones by getting it!

My build in D2 in ZvP is same as in ZvT, I just drone much harder cause no helions and I die to Oracle cause don't wanna waste minerals on spores 😄 #potatogaming Lambo is it that bad if I go double injects at 2:40 ? I don't get larva cap, I'm spending them on drones, just creep and 1 queen are later.

You will have a harder time against fast 2 Adepts if you do that because your 2nd Queen will be too late and you won't have creep to start engaging the adepts away from your natural, which forces an earlier shade. Ontop of that your natural and your third wont connect with creep against an oracle first. I would suggest to just copy my tumour pattern from the replay but if you really think the extra 2 drones that you have mining for a bunch of seconds early on help you more then you can do that too : )
