I got a 2018 Jetta, (US) it had a two position switch, ON and OFF. I installed fog lights and this "EURO" switch, it is set to AUTO and I programmed to turn the fog lights on as well.

Hello, i have the same thing for my mk4 bora, did it beep if you open the door?

Most of them will beep as it takes a couple of seconds for the sensor to shut the light circuit down. Also if coming home / leaving is working for up to 30sec it will beep till they turn off. It’s doing something that your car wasn’t born with. Nothing to worry about.

Doesn't need to be activated. It's plug and play.

The welcome home features. When you unlock the car the head lights come on for a few seconds BUT when you lock the car do the head lights stay on for a few seconds or go off straight away?

Normally, the delay lights feature (welcome home) stays on for a few seconds (normally around 20-30 seconds on Mercedes cars) so I would assume that it stays on a while

Only if you have the same connector at the back of the headlight switch. If it's the smaller type then this kit will not work.

Grant Weller No. I haven't even tried to find, but I assume that it's for trailer hitch power supply for lights or maybe it's something for aftermarket car alarm. I don't know. Do you also have trailer or aftermarket alarm ? My car is Passat B5.5 sedan 2001 1.8T

Pop your switch out. Push it in and try and turn on at the same time as pulling it out. Check if the fitting is the same. If it's not, there's plenty of other kits which fit vw cars on Aliexpress. I got mine for my Seat Toledo for £26 and works identical to this one.

Do you mean the headlight warning buzzer? If so this is normal... It will do it 2 or 3 times and tehn shutdown the lighting circuit.
