Hi Mate, Excellent video very well explained almost everything 👍, Quick question, i am about to buy this switch on ebay, but got few questions you might help in this case if it possibe(by setting up through the app) to leave it on auto mod, while its on auto the side light and the front foglights to work, when it gets dark the main lights turns on by itself, do you think this apps lets you to mess about with the settings i have got polo 2010, changed all the bulbs to led's it looks cool when the side lights and the front fog lights , but obviously i have to manullay turn the switch at on position also pull up onces to turn the front fog lights on. Hey mate thank you, yeah you can adjust everything in the app (when it works) the app can be a bit difficult to get to work. You can have the lights so that they come on when you open the car and lock it etc it’s a real good bit of kit 👍🏻

There’s loads of settings for the lights. I’ve got it so when I lock the car and it’s dark enough the lights will come on and stay on for 10 seconds but only when it’s dark enough 👍🏻

i did yeah, you have to change the percentages on the app for light sensitivity if i remember right. best thing to do is play around with it a bit. make sure you hit save after every adjustment though

Did you have any problems connecting it to the app or putting your fuse card back in, I’m installing mine now and can’t seem to connect it or get mine back in, I have got a slightly different one though

Yeah connecting it to the app was a bit of a pig but I got it eventually. It’s just trial and error to be fair. Best method I used was to put the switch into Bluetooth mode (dial on auto) Turn the ignition off using the key then turn it back on, then search for the switch on your WiFi setting on your phone, it says Bluetooth but my one connected via WiFi 🤷🏼‍♂️ it might take a few attempts to work but just keep trying 👍🏻

I dont make the switch to i couldnt 100% tell you that it will work. aslong as the connecter looks the same then i can gather it will work The best thing to do is to contact the seller to see if they can shed anymore light on the situation or even better get you a wiring diagram so you can see how the switch is pinned.

That is a weird one, have you fitted it properly? Also if I recall there’s a fuse built into the switch itself, check to see if that one is in there properly and ok? is it blowing the fuse in the fuse box or like I said in the switch ?

I have very intesting issue with that one. When its stay in auto and i leave the car everything its okay coming home its working and turning off after 30sec but in the morning the parking light its on automaticlly... So my diagnostic its when it's dark and i leave the car headlight are off but in the morning when sun is come the parking lights are on... Any advice for that?

Make sure you check your settings in the app, it sounds like you’ve got the settings the wrong way round. For instance, the lights are on when its light outside and dark when it’s dark outside which isn’t ideal, try playing with the settings or using the ones I put in the description for my set up ? Thank you for your advice but when its day it doesn't came ON. The thing is like this... When its on auto in day its OFF and when the night come its ON...so in frist impression there is no problem when i am in the car. But when i leave the car in night for example with auto still no problem i lock and after 30 sec headlights are OFF but in the morning automatically parking light are ON. After this when i go in the car and switch OFF and then AUTO again headlights and parking light are off again 😂😂😂So after trying and trying i see this... If i leave in auto and night come its on automaticlly doesn't matter i am in the car or not the same thing its when its come from night to day again doesn't matter i am in the car or not automatically parking light came on 😂😂😂 And i dont have this app btw i thing main dont have Bluetooth. No once it’s set up it’ll just follow the programmed settings auto doesn’t rely on the Bluetooth connection it’s purely there to just change settings 👌🏻

Hey mate, I’m not sure if it would use the same app, it’s possible but I cannot say 100% it’ll be the exact same. You can set the lights to stay on after you lock the car, for instance after my car locks it’ll keep the lights on for 15 seconds, when I open the car the lights come on for 15 seconds but this only happens if it is dark outside, if it’s bright sunshine for example it won’t activate any lights. Yeah you can programme it to do that, the switch has a sensor on it to detect how light it is outside so you can set the lights to turn on and off whenever you like 👍🏻

Yeah, it’s a great little mod that’s fairly cheap and easy to do! I’ve upgraded the number plate lights and headlights so it looks super modern at night when you unlock or lock the car

This is the only switch I’ve had any hands on experience with mate so it’s the only one I’d currently recommend. Your phone only needs to be connected to set it up, after that the switch will do whatever you’ve programmed it to do, I hope this helps 👍🏻

Mine was a bit sticky to get out, try get a plastic pry tool behind it to slide it out if you can, that helped with me 👍🏻
