Thanks a ton. Ive just watched this video as I have non functioning turn signals and hazards. i have searched for 2 days looking for a solution on line without success. My car is a 2012 Kia Ceed but this part of the car is fairly generic to other kia models. With the info in your clear video and talk through, I am fairly confident that i can now sort out the problem. I'm an old man now in my seventies and have no money so cant afford to buy a manual etc. However i used to be a hands-on electrical engineer and your explanation and illustration of the circuit diagram is exactly what i was looking for . so - once more THANKS lovely to find someone who knows what they're talking about. Kindest regards Tony Johnson

Too straight forward. Switch won't carry a load. Dude, excellent flow on your troubleshooting! This is why we have so many hacked up vehicles, lack of wire diagrams and a good dose of common sense. What you did was not hard with the proper awareness, training, and tools, and diagrams! Without it, one would be lost. Keep up the great work!

@@ADVANCEDLEVELAUTO bro, at time 9.28, when external power is supplied to the output wire of the Hazard switch, why the power probe led flashes?? Is not it supposed to be constantly light which means 12 v constant goes to power feed side if hazard flasher unit as long as hazard lights are ON?? Now, it seems 12 v is on and off repeatedly which is in synch with the flashing lamps. Is not the power feed side of the HAZARD FLASHER UNIT is to be constant 12 v at all times when any turn signals or hazard lights are activated??? Please more clear information on this.

Great video man. Not that it was really needed for this diagnosis. But you have to drive home the fact that you should always be load testing your power and ground circuits. The power probe is a very useful tool but it does not load circuits enough to be sure that the circuit can carry some current.
@ADVANCEDLEVELAUTO5 жыл бұрын

It is a nice presentation, Thanks. Do you think the same wireing is on 2007 Kia Sorento? My left signal bulb is always ON when the lights low/high beam are ON, but not when the lights are OFF. I use my hazards a lot when stopping curb side and my 2011 Kia Sorrento does have a problem with the right indicator not working when turning it on, but kicking in after the turn is made or only flashing once or twice when manually turning it on. It just started doing this. My left signal is perfect. Kia did not look into it as a problem under them,, so they want over $500. To fix it.

Honestly, the way you describe every step of what your doing, your painting a picture so well that a blind man can understand, and when it comes to that don’t change a thing!
