Have a horse when you stop lots of time he is not jerking, throwing his head, but always moving just enough to be really aggravating. What type of bitwould you be using? Maybe you could demonstrate the other horse that has these issues ?

Just some I’m clear- Are you saying that when you ask the horse to stop he pushes into the bit and throws his head? And when asked to stop and stand he’s still moving around?

When you move them to the correction bit do you use a short shank or long shank?

Longer Shanks give longer time to respond before direct contact is applied. Shorter Shanks give shorter time to respond before direct contact is applied.
