Gary, this is so magical to watch! How every small "mistake" is full of energy and possibilities, like when you take a step and fall and as the other foot catches the body a new step in the dance and so it continues. And the whole dance is condenced into that rectangle! Thank you for the inspiration!

I too think watching is magical. As soon as the darks start to go in - hey presto! Then you add the icing for a delicious visual treat. Thanks so much for making available to us :).

That is a really beautiful painting and a very good demonstration with easily understandable explanations. The way you simplified a complex reference photograph to achieve just the essence of a scene is remarkable as well. Thank you very much for sharing it, Gary. Appreciate your kind gesture.
