Beagles are very protective dog of their loved ones. They also knows well how to pick they friends. I have a medical problem and when things didn't look right he remained by my side until he knew for sure that I was okay. Even if he felt he had to be in bed with me for the night he did so. I highly recommend them to everyone that needs help with medical conditions.

These are the sweetest, most loving dogs. But, they are LOUD. They settle into great calm dogs inside, but get them outside around squirrels, etc. and they are LOUD.
