Weatherby is not using Nosler bullets now because of the lack of supply. Not sure where they will end up. My experience with ballistic tips, very accurate, super destructive bullets. Partitions have ALWAYS been number one for me. Zero failures.

You know what's better than a nosler plastic tip bullets. Hornady eld-x bullet that you can go to the store and buy,cause it's in stock.😂

150 nosler balistic tip in 300 wsm is a deer hammering machine
@blaynemacpherson851911 ай бұрын
In some opinions it is just a little bit overkill. Lol
@frankspataro971411 ай бұрын
It's a deer flopping machine for real

The question is why does the partition still have a lead tip? One of their best bullets.

Used 180 gr. ballistic tip nosler in 300 win mag and first deer at 100 yards I quit. The wound in the deer heart and lungs was large enough to stick your head through. The next year I used Barnes x 180 gr. and have went to 150 gr. X and never looked back. This was years ago I'm guessing they may be better now. I started with horn. normal 180 lead tip and was not impressed even though several friends swore by them.

You can't compare the 2 though, Nosler Ballistic tip has a lead core, the Barnes is copper, doesn't have the same effect, but, I'm with you, I hate the ballistic tips, Barnes for me these days.

I like my meat into the freezer as opposed to be oozing out of my quarry ...

I’ve had the same experience, except I used the Accubonds. 5 animals shot. 0 bullets passed through. All fragmented upon impact leaving hole on the ENTRY side from tennis ball size to an 8”x4” gaping wound that completely destroyed the possibility of a shoulder mount for a trophy Oregon antelope. I have pics to confirm my claims. Yesterday, my box of Nosler Trophy Grade partitions arrived. I’ll never use an Accubond again. Also, can’t sell them….it’s just not right to do that to another hunter. Will be throwing away $500 worth of ammo

7mm rem mag 150 gr ballistic tip CT. Took a frontal shot on a deer. Ended up giving the deer a haircut upfront but then the bullet veered and smacked the back leg. 2 hour to track then shot through a 4 inch aspen to put it down. It’s a great bullet broadside but that’s as far as I would go from now on.

I haven’t been up to date, what happened to Randy’s arm/hand?
@mopardoctor996611 ай бұрын
Food poisoning from a pizza when he was in Portland Oregon caused him to collapse into a shower door. Glass cut up his arm.

@@edwardabrams4972knowing it was Portland it probably was a tree hugger vegetarian cook that thought he could get revenge on Randy for his hunting by using old meat or tainted mushrooms.

165 gr accubonds out of a 30/06 is a deadly combination

They make OALengths too long and mess up seating depth & case capacity for heavy for caliber bullets

Recently purchased a box of accubonds to reload, opened the box and 66 bullets had a mushroomed/deformed polymer tip. Never buying Nosler again after that.

I got two boxes of barns that are cocked too the side....I had to heat them up with a hair dryer to get them straight again.
