@@concept1027 It is.But if we think about it,socialism was just a different look at capitalism.People still got paid with money,they still bought food with money,and "government property" just meant that only state loyal people could lead companies,which isn't so different from capitalism,the only difference being that the owner is not obliged to be state loyal (but in most "capitalist" countries today mostly state loyal people lead the big corporations).Technically,there was private property,just not so freely distributed.

Pure capitalism and pure socialism are entirely different. I don't disagree with what you have laid out, but it is a separate paradigm. A thought experiment, and a pretty fun/successful one. It's worth noting that the bear of capitalism (the united states) no longer exists as a capital state. It's a corporate oligarchy. Capitalist extremism. Market terrorism, basically. The United States looks absolutely nothing like socialism in any way, no matter how creative the interpretation.
