1:48 Houses like this break my heart. This was probably somebody's dream come true, and I'm sure they put a lot of money, energy, and time into it. To see it in this state/condition is just sad and heartbreaking. You could tell that it was really nice at one point.

So true! I find abandoned places so fascinating. I always wonder about their history. I grew up in an abandoned schoolhouse that we remodeled in Colorado and we bought an abandoned property here in PR too (our current farm)! So I've always loved exploring them and thinking about the past owners.

It was such a wonderful surprise to see you in Rincon this afternoon. My partner and I, spent countless hours watching your videos during the harsh Iowa winter, and we longed to bask in the sunshine as we have seen you do in every installment. Watching and subscribing to your channel was a major catalyst for our trip to Puerto Rico this week. I must say, you are as genuine and selfless as you appear to be on camera. Thank you for being your authentic selves and inviting the world to join in on the fun. Your content brings joy to so many people and is nothing short of inspirational. We will be headed to Cabo Rojo this weekend for the gay pride festivities and would love to share a laugh or two with you if that is on your itinerary as well. Thank you for taking the time to say hello to us this afternoon. It will certainly be a highlight of our magnificent Puerto Rican adventure. Until our paths cross again... Salud! Scott and Shad

Being trying to get to that place for a while but each time is raining a lot. I just want to get to the Iglesia and try flying my drone there. Glad you enjoy your adventure.
@LifeTransPlanet3 жыл бұрын
Hi Realengo. It's a long hike so start early since it has been raining pretty much every day. We flew the drone as you can see, but we couldn't fly it much at El Pilon because there is no signal so it limits altitude and then it started raining more too.
@RealengoPrimordialDemon3 жыл бұрын
@@LifeTransPlanet I going to give you a place you're going to love, check el Saltillo in San Sebastian, this are the coordinates 18°19'40.1"N 66°55'07.4"W, this is at the end of the carr 4451. This road was closed after hurricane Maria and you can leave the car after the small bridge or down at the end in a road block . You're going to walk down just a little bit and before you get to the broken bridge you're going to find the trail at your right side, is a long one and muddy just before you get to the first small waterfall, since you already did the one in San German this one won't be a problem, just be prepare in case a rain shower get you while down there but try to go during a sunny day. Check the photos in Google map and you will get a idea, you could fly the drone down there but I didn't get any signal from the GPS but my signal from T-Mobile was excellent. Don't take the first trail you will see after the parking area, is a longer one and the trail is no very clear in places, the one I suggested is just before reaching the river. Very important, after reaching the first stream with the nice small waterfall take the trail to the left, the one at the right is the long way back to the road.
@LifeTransPlanet3 жыл бұрын
@@RealengoPrimordialDemon Thanks for the tip! Keep them coming! We went to El Saltillo once but I think we took a different trail! I'll have to try this route! Thisis how we went: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZitpXpsf76mipo

@@LifeTransPlanet oh, didn't see that video, I went 2 weeks ago and the place has a lot more water. You can try el charco La Guitarra in Orocovis but wait until this rains stop completely cause the road just getting near the place is in very bad shape and even your jeep will struggle, I suggest to visit the place after a good few days of rains, if you do tell your husband to be careful about multiple power lines going down the mountain cause they're nearly invisible and could trip your drone, there a multiple waterfalls next to the left side of the road and a bunch more down the bridge in the left side of the mountain, I recommend flying the drone from a small road that leads to a bunch of houses on the other side which is a good lunching point for the drone. El charco La Guitarra is a 10 minute hike upriver from the bridge where you leave your vehicle. If you need directions or anything let me know.

Beautiful but be careful if its raining from the water rising. I love going to creeks and small rivers but if its raining i prefer not to go die to safety concerns. When the water hits its really dangerous. But besides that its a lot of fun

How did your son do on the hike? I need some young kid friendly hikes!
@LifeTransPlanet3 жыл бұрын
Hi Michelle! He did great going in, but was really wiped out on the way back and Britton had to carry him. There are some sort of hard spots as you can see in the video with fallen trees and things, but it's not too bad. The next video with Charco La Iglesia you would probably want to leave the younger kids at El Pilon while you explored it. There are definitely more kid-friendly falls than this one, but it's not too bad if they like hiking.

Many old people died and the houses end up abandoned cause the family probably moved away to others part of the island or moved to the mainland.
@peterivera27693 жыл бұрын
One of you is right,actually that's a family member of mine they just moved about 5 miles from there is still their land if you notice it has a gate with a lock meaning do not trespass and the hurricanes never touched any oh those houses thank God as i too have a house near hahaha enjoyed your video..! 👍FYI road is blocked off because it only goes a few yard and become a dumping ground for stolen cars,trash and a few dead bodies so the city to put a few barriers..!
