I would like to go to Monaco. Those older buildings have such characteristics and the lifts do look really nice and clean. Compare to other lifts that aren’t as nice and clean.

With "assenser public" my dad would have at one time, when I was learning French, have said "No, no no. It's A- sonn- surrr!" As he could speak fluent French. Not so easy to pronounce French when you're southern English and have a narrow nose. Luckily the French have understood me.

I just realized that I was saying it the Spanish way, "ascensor". At least in France all lifts have a mode called horse service for when you want to take your horse lift surfing!

The platforms at Monaco - Monte - Carlo station are an amazing 1500' or 460m+. For reference, the longest ones on the Elizabeth line at Bond Street are a measly 260m and from one end you can't really see the other, so God knows what Monte Carlo was like. Lucky you. Also, wot no comment on the "bug eye" lift buttons 4:55 ? Have I missed seeing them and hearing your thoughts in a previous vid? Are they all over the place nowadays and I should just get out more?

Monaco has some very interesting lift. A mixture of lifts to underground passageways, and lifts in tall towers. It is different to most other places I have visited.

I find it strange that a lot of the lifts only have a ‘start’ button instead of a floor select.
@a_very_normalperson2 жыл бұрын
There's no 13th floor because number 13 scares people who have the phobia, so they might skip 13 or just say 12b or something
