The riff in measure 30 on the sheet doesn’t line up with what the dude is playing. Ar least I think so. Im gonna keep trying it and see what’s up though. I’ll update in like 10 min Edit: I played the riff like he played it on the piano (BABD) note im not concerned with proposer spacing. I don’t know the letter notes well on the bass but it’s went 10-14-12 12-14 on the second lowest string. The rift Melody played goes high-low-high-highest. The rift written goes low-highest-high-high-highest. I will figure out what he played in notes and update later once more.

Edit 3: of guess they turned the multi edit thing off so heres the last one. At the most simple, it sounds like he played 14-12-14 on the second lowest string and finished with a 12 on the next string up. Like I said, this is the most basic writing. There are more complex sounds within the rift. Also it’s important that you know this isn’t a “call out” or “f you op” just a slight revision. This is actually one best bass tutorial videos I’ve ever seen. With a really great song choice and a mid level practice for beginners to get better. I’ve been replaying this video since may of 2022 just to practice getting better each time. I will spend up to 2 hours or at least, 20 minutes on this 2.5 min video at a time. Practice this exact arrangement on my own many times. This is a really great video for learning music. Top Tier 11/10 instead of a 12/10

I never promise my transcriptions are 100%, but I must say I revisited measure 30 and played along with it, and I stand by it being 100% correct. It sounds to me like you aren't quite hearing the ornaments. But having said that, I say play whatever you hear! Trust your ears until they tell you otherwise. God bless.

here's an easy trick: what is the first note of the piece? that often gives you your answer.

Cheers. And another good way to double-check is to look at the last note of the piece as well. If a song is in G, it is likely to start and/or end on G. Not always (as this song ends on a D), but usually.
