I found it very interesting. Thank you for explaining the historical towns and buildings as well. I wish I could travel by motorcycle like you.

Great video Keith, I'm venturing to the Trans Mass in a few weeks on my scrambler from Western Mass. Thanks for posting these videos.

Thanks Tom. I hope the ride on the Trans-Mass went well. This was the first year I didn't ride it.

Thanks for the video! I plan on taking this route this summer for my very first adventure ride! I'll be departing from Stanstead Qc making my way South to meet some friends in the Gloucester area!

You'll love it Manny. There are several different versions of the Puppy Dog...all of them are excellent.

@@AdventuresWithMe00 Have you thought about doing another group ride? I joined you when you did that a few yrs ago. It was a lot of fun. This is Dave with the Africa Twin.

Good job packing light! I usually over pack but everyone comes to me when they need something. Looks like a really good time you had. Would love to travel that when the border opens.
@AdventuresWithMe003 жыл бұрын
Thanks Mike. Packing light is a real challenge; it took me 3-4 tries to get this one right and fit everything. I need to renew my passport. The Canadian border will be open again in just a few weeks. Derby Line should look a lot different.

Great job on the vid! I put the Acerbis tank on my CRF250L…nice having the extra gallon of gas.
@AdventuresWithMe003 жыл бұрын
Thanks Bill. I've thought about adding an extra gallon. I like using the stock plastics and not having one of those hoses sticking out of the cap. In New England it's not usually too much of a problem to find gas. I just have the attitude to fill up long before I need to look.

Doing the trans mass trail (again)and about 80% of the puppy dog… until Stowe that is… Doing this in two weeks this video is great information as I’ve done the hamster route in New Hampshire and many class 6 and class 4 roads and the trans mass trail but I have never done the full length of the puppy dog route (in a Jeep btw) it’s going to be a blast! Thank you again

Awesome Andrew, glad the video was helpful. I will be on the PDR again on June 4th for the annual BMW Owners of Vermont ride and campout at Silver Lake. Very excited for that.

Enjoyable video. I found it because Ive been looking for a good ride to take soon on my new KLX 300. I’m in southern ct but was thinking of maybe trailering the bike up north to find some dirt mountain roads.
@AdventuresWithMe002 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment Edward. What's so amazing about Vermont is you don't have to stay on a route like this if you want something more aggressive. The BackCountry Discovery Route runs right through the state (over some of the same route). Vermont has more dirt roads than paved so you wouldn't have any issues finding a place to ride. The only downside to the Puppy Dog on a small bike is that you have to ride back from the northern border and it's no fun.

I'm wanting to do this route by bicycle. At 16sec's you show a map. Is that from the BMW site, or is there another way to get that? Thanks for a great, inspiring video!!

Nice video work. Can you share with me the artist and song you're playing in the background at the end of the video? Thank you.
@AdventuresWithMe003 жыл бұрын
Yes, the last one is called, "Fast and Run" by Nico Staf. I found it on the KZbin non-copyright Music Library. It's a pretty new selection.

@@AdventuresWithMe00 Thanks so much. I recognized it from Andrew Camarata's videos and like the song. I appreciate your taking the time to reply with the info.

Is this not likely on a off road only dirtbike?? Wanting to take my Yamaha Bw200 on it.. Much thanks!! Of course it will be registered in NH
@AdventuresWithMe002 жыл бұрын
These are all public roads, but mostly off the beaten path. You never see law enforcement out there, but you might when you pass through some of the towns. It would be a gamble.
