Have to admit that Dinty Moore was a favorite of mine when family camping but we used instant potatoes. The kids loved it as did we. You have been circling around where I live and on many of the trails I have traversed. Kept seeing many places I have been too. When someone loses something they may come back looking for it that is why I don't remove objects but leave. Just my opinion. People who live here probably walk the same trails often and when losing something can go back and look for it. Glad you like the area. What is not to like, right? Glad you liked our piece of Heaven in Hell. Cheers.

I hiked this trail last year. I was impressed at how well the trail is maintained. I stopped by Pinckney Diner on the way home. For a small diner I was expecting the usual decent burger and fry food. I was wrong. Great menu selection and the food was way above par. If you are heading that way I highly recommend it.

Man, I'd just like to say I love watching you all hike my local trails. I moved up here from downstate after a family vacation showed me the beauty that is northern Michigan! I just found your channel, and I'm hooked! Seeing specific trees on the trail that I know and land markers just makes me giddy. You have also done several in Tennessee I've done! Love it guys! Please keep it up! I tell everyone to unplug and get outdoors. Your doing a great thing. Unfortunately, I have had to have a couple foot surgeries and I need at least 1 more. But you better believe I'll be back out there as soon as I can! I feel myself getting fat in this house and I'm definitely stir crazy. Thanks again

You were hiking in the Pinckney State Recreation Area. Adjacent to the west is the Waterloo State Recreation Area. There’s a trail that goes from the west end of one to the east end of the other - the Waterloo-Pinckney Trail. That mile marker 30 is for that trail. Total distance is around 37-38 miles. The markers are short. It’s a wonderful trail. Camping at 10.5 miles (Pines), 22.5 (Green Lake), and 30 (Blind Lake).

sandhill cranes I finally got to see them fly over my house two years in a row they did not this year, love the trilliums and spring beauty? robby is on a roll, are you ever going to redo the ice age trail? congrates on your marriage, hope it goes well we have been married 34 years and at first it was rough but you get to know each other and adjust. couldnt you have gone for the post hike meal and come back to camp? possibly when you eat a meal your blood sugar drops a bit even tho you just ate, the sweetness of something helps to quickly bring it up, i used to get that way after a meal I dont get them anymore since when I did keto over 2 years ago it broke alot of my bad habits that I tried and tried to break and since then losing some weight too, my need for a post meal pick me up has vanished for the most part, of course if I were hiking alot of miles and carrying weight it would probably be a bit different.
