As someone who lives in the states, it’s hard to imagine what it is like to go thru something like this. When someone says the Caribbean , we think of beautiful pristine waters and amazing island sights. We never think of the hurricanes that bring this type of devastation. I wish these people well and I hope they come back stronger. God speed….

Emily and Cole, wow your video is amazing and so tough for me. My wife Lynne and I spent the last 2 years cruising this area and loved it and the people are so amazing. My heart goes out to all of them. Our Boat Next Chapter is in your video. She is the Catamaran in the Haulout slipway at Tyrell Bay Marina. I have now lost my 2 favorite ladies within a month. Lynne passed away 8 days after returning to Canada from Carriacou. While Lynne's condition was terminal, Lynne wanted to spend the time on the boat in this area as we had fallen in love with it and its people. Thank you for sharing as people need to see what has happened and how the local people need their help. Matt.

Very well done video. Thank you for this glimpse into what's happening there. My heart aches for them, but know they will come back from it in time.

Darwin in Australia was blown to bits like this in 1972. This island will recover due to the resilience of the occupants and help from elsewhere. From Australia NSW 2371.

We spent 43 days sailing from Salvador, Brazil, barely missing Beryl in Grenada, finally deciding we pressed on to Curacao. This is a hurricane hole!

Check out Rise Grenada a fund we helped to start, we have been funding material supplies and support for the locals.

Must say… these people are traumatized, likely with PTSD, and you’re pointing a camera in their face under the guise of raising awareness (and for “likes” and “subscribes”). Bad form, but would expect that from the media.

Thoughtless comment to woman who lost everything about how this could have been you shows a real lack of sensitivity

Did you teslky just say this coykdve been you in front of a woman who lost her home ? Your house moves ,hers didnt . Way to make it all about you guys .very very selfish

You’re joking, right? You watched this whole video and that’s what you got out of it? We literally used our platform to raise awareness about the situation and help with raising money for rebuilding efforts. What have you done to help???
@easternsuneasternsun1714 ай бұрын
@@adventurecrews yep , pretty much know everyone in the video , young boy merv from budget as example . Let's see I just got back to Grenada a few days ago , after bringing $4000ec in food plus 144 diapers for a friend , clothing for ppl who work at the yard, power tools for Tim garraway in Hillsboro, 4 five gallon gas cans with gas for other ppl we know who are living off generators and cash . While there , helped another friend at TBM remove three masts off his boat . Making ppl aware is not the same as making it about you , You weren't there therefore there was no need to bring up the hypothetical scenario of if you were , im positive the woman standing there couldn't have cared less whether it could've been you or not .

That's great, I'm glad you were able to help out! I'm not sure why you're so fixated on that comment, you can take your negativity somewhere else because it's not welcomed on our page.
@easternsuneasternsun1714 ай бұрын
Negative comment , ? Pretty sure your saying that in front of someone whose life has just been turned upside down didn't appreciate you noting that you're ok and she's not . Just for a moment think about how that sounded to her and imagine if the times were reversed and how that would've sounded to you . Not trying to steal your sunshine but that was definitely bad timing on your part . And stop acting like this is all about awareness and has nothing to do with getting views ,
