Love this vid guys. Grew up with a buddy having a 200x three wheeler. Always was a death trap. But we were young and dumb and it was lots of fun! Was out riding 2 weekends ago and saw one all redone. Beaut!! For sure. Brought back memories.

The outlook on 3 wheelers is spot on in this video. I am a honda 3 wheeler junkie and that is a beautiful unit you have. The most fun and versatile machines out there while being the simplest to work on. If you ever venture north to mid Michigan I'll show ya some 3 wheeling hot spots. Fingers crossed on getting a 250l or 300l next season. Keep up the content brotha always excited to see what's happening in your neck of the woods.

At the start of the video the gas cap was on backwards. If the "on" isn't pointed towards the front the cap doesn't vent properly. One of my buddies did that by mistake a few times back in the day when we all had 250 honda's.

The pilot that was clogging/ended up clogged could actually be why it was getting so hot. Fuel works to cool your engine as well, so when it's getting less of it it's going to run hot. I would also clean the air filters.. my Honda Recon filter was pretty bad and had same symptoms Big Red, hard to start once it got warmed up and felt like it was running very very hot. Cleaned filter and it made all the difference. Thanks for another great video Tanner!

Best one I've seen in years. I know where one is setting in a dealership shop all original but the gas tank is rotted. That's the only reason I haven't bought it. Their awesome machines.

Hey dude! Love the channel and content, keep it up its fun to watch you guys. Small tip for the video production side with video I noticed...You may have already filddled with it and it is proabably as good as it can get, and its a super small detail but something that bugged me with certain lights I'd used, you may notice those subtle darker/lighter lines that keep moving up/down the entire image/frame on some of those indoor shots, like at 4:22, this is happening the LED lights used in the room and the frequency those operate on usually 60hz, and its too close to the shutter speed that the camera is set to. Happens all the time with household LED lights versus some video lights will say "flicker free" which would prevent this also. If you switch one or two shutter speeds up or down (yes it will make the shot more/less exposed) but it will eliminate those lines and make the picture a touch cleaner on those shots inside with those led's

I've had a bad fuel cap already... riding in the heat and the sloshing actually let me run a good while then quit.. I messed with the petcock, knew I wasn't out so i didn't take the gas cap off....choked it and it started got done riding parked it... it had cooled off a few days later I turned the fuel on and heard the gas bubbling... it cooled and made a vaccum in the tank and was pulling air through the carb to satisfy the tank suction..... hearing the bubbles I pulled the cap off and it finished its drawing in of the outside air....... lesson learned

Honestly the 3rd position on the main needle should be more than plenty. Stock was 2nd clip and they were already a tad rich from factory. Also the popping you hear in the exhaust (from previous video) is more than likely due to a rich condition. Excess fuel in the exhaust will ignite with it's rich. Great videos!

Enlarge your pilot jet a little 1 or 2 sizes and this will happen alot less, little shit in the tank won't clog as easily from dirt or jelling of fuel sitting in carb awhile 😉 and your engine will run cooler if richer and besides factory always under jets. And lower clip all the way down on needle .
@emile74522 жыл бұрын
this is a commentary before they start fixing it . the fact that pressure built up in your gas tank means that the vent is not open / not properly opened . also the fact that it had hard time starting /not starting can be cause by many things: my theory is that the selenoid is broken
