Thank your for sharing. The boring or say loneliness is the most beautiful part of the RV life style. In eastern culture, the deepest loneliness is near the spiritual part, the most enjoyable part of life.

Lol true story, we started in May. Didn’t book way ahead, so have bounced around state parks as we go. And it’s been amazing, but towing/setting up/packing up in itself is exhausting on top of working full time. For the next destination we’re booking way ahead so we can have a longer home base, and explore instead of spending time planning the next move and towing.

3 months full time here and YES we agree, grocery shopping is an adventure and takes a bit longer than it used to. It is boring at times and campgrounds can get expensive. We appreciate the honesty in the video and it confirms we aren't totally crazy 😜. Decision fatigue is real!

Thanks for sharing. I have a RV ( usually take it out on weekends) and a home. But home ownership can be boring as well. Cutting the lawn and other stuff can get really old. Plus my home is beginning to need some major repairs so I am not looking forward to that. Everything has its pluses and minuses.

Great video, agree with many of the points...One thing to share about those that have Class As / Diesel Pushers that pull a vehicle, the STRESS knowing you can't simply backup if you go down a wrong street, or if you try to make a tight turn and can't and then block the entire street and have to disconnect the toad while people are staring at you (not saying that ever happened to me on the way to Tahoe)...Only those that pull a vehicle 4 down know this stress! I HATE IT! Ohhhh I also overanalyze, overthink, over-plan, and over stress every route (due to pulling vehicle)...At least with a Trailer / 5th Wheel you can backup as needed (for the most part)
@AdventureEndeavor3 жыл бұрын
Yes that is VERY true. We have thought about going with a motorhome but I know I would miss the 4x4 and the places we can drag our trailer. 🤷♂️

I completely get it. I’m still a weekend warrior and there have been times where I’ve camped for a week or two and had boring times while doing so. Plus, being a weekend warrior is a lot of work. I’m by myself so I have to make sure EVERYTHING is set up right to go camping. I’ve got to get everything ready, then when I get there, set everything up, then BAM, 2 nights later I’m getting things ready to break down the next morning and go home. When I get home everything has to be unhitched and unloaded. It’s a lot of work. But I still enjoy it so……
@AdventureEndeavor3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, idk if we would have an RV if we just went on the weekends. It's definitely a ton of work!

It’s boring?!?! Strong words my friend! Lol! 😂 I get what you guys mean though, when you work full time you may not get out of the RV much during the week that’s why I mix in a lot of coffee shops or others local places I can work outside of the rig. Helps to mix things up although we don’t do as much boondocking as you guys which I’m sure makes it more difficult to get into town. Anyway loved the video!!
@AdventureEndeavor3 жыл бұрын

I decided to retire and begin an RV life and I've spent the last year or so putting my "plan" together. What I decided on, is a 24 ft class C and a small Honda trail 125 as my secondary, keeping it simple I think is key! It seems you've got the remote working thing pretty much down, so of something isn't working for you, change it! Who knows, maybe you have too much your trying to lug around? Make it work for you 😎👍🏼
