So, my folks let us have cable from 90-93. Being in my mid-late teens, i still thought Nickelodeon was super cool. I loved Clarissa Explains it all, Ren and Stimpy, and especially, The Adventures of Pete and Pete. I am so happy that KZbin has a lot of what i missed so that i can revisit all these crazy characters. I remember one episode of P&P which features the song, "Elevator", by Downy Mildew. They sounded like a cross between R.E.M. and 10,000 Maniacs. Maybe it was a one-off special or something; but, i fell in love with that song; and, immediately went to my local The Wiz to buy a copy of "An Oncoming Train." And my memory imight be facockte; but, wasnt "Stigmata" by Ministry featured on an episode of The Adventures of Pete and Pete? And if not, maybe another Nickelodeon show. I didnt dream it; and, Nickelodeon was quite subversive back in the day. I mean, wasn't Clarissa ' They Might Be Giants #1 fan? If anyone remembers when and where "Stigmata" was featured, holler at me. Good times.

No other show captures being a kid/youth more than this. Being a kid and coming of age is weird af and this show captured it so well and wholesomely. Wish there was a show this surreal mixed with the older themes of Malcolm. in the middle

The song is on the 1993 ep titled "kisser" very hard to find but I have a copy in mp3 I also have most all the albums featured on the show - apples in stereo, racecar, chug, polaris, magnetic fields, luscious jackson, the 6ths, drop nineteens, gothic archies all have had their music featured on the show.

Yea, that's what I hear too. It's bad ass. lol She says it throughout the whole song though. That's what I liked about growing up in the 90's, we could hear cuss words on T.V. and not think twice about it, because we knew better. Yet nowadays, people bitch and moan about it. I'm glad I'm not a kid in this generation. Not hearing cuss words as a kid it what makes you want to rebel, and curse others.

@joshboni86 Yeah, but for some people they don't like Icarly as much, neither any other show that was too much about certain things portrayed too much like teen drama, becoming a celebrity, and etc. Back then, some shows actually elaborated what it's like to be a kid growing up and dealing with certain things in their lives. Pete and pete, although wacky, shown those kinds of things well. You barely see that with Icarly or a few other shows like Degrassi.
