Wait so we still have Frontier Land, Liberty Square and Adventureland to hit!!!! 😆👏 This is super fun, as someone who’s never been to Disneyland, love to see these reactions! There used to be an additional side street on Main St to the left, it had a “flower” market and I think people could also buy cards there. But it got closed up due to the expansion needed for the Emporium. Also if you go back and look at any vids from Tomorrowland from the past 3 to 6 years or so you’ll see It had a TON of steam punk aspects that have been removed recently & now it’s more streamlined and clean like it was originally. It was far more 90s futuristic before.

I grew up 30 mins from WDW. Love your take on everything. I’m good with most of the changes but Dumbo used to be one wheel right beside the carousel behind the castle. That was my Dumbo. I’ve only been on it once since it moved. Just not the same. I have been to Disneyland. When in college. A long time ago in a galaxy far far away. Have a ball and look forward to your blogs.

Fantastic video - we are Disneyland fans and have been there over a dozen times as we live on West Coast of Canada. Your video makes me really happy we are planning to go back to DisneyWorld in Fall 2022 as only had one trip there back in 2010. I’ve actually skipped nearly all WDW content, not on purpose, I’m just a Disneyland guy and figured it was more a lift of Walt’s kingdom but even this short clip has made me a little more excited about visiting Roy’s kingdom one day 🙌

That was my first thoughts when I visited Disney World about 30 years ago. I was raised in Calif and Disneyland was my main place to visit 2 or 3 times a year since a child. It was overwhelming and so much to walk and see!! I feel your thoughts. ENJOY!!!

Loved the metallic palms trees in Tomorrowland. The renaissance fair quality of Fantasyland was interesting. All the space WDW has for parklets is really enjoyable.

I'm definitely getting the mini-golf vibes like you mentioned - even with things like the auxiliary castle structures . Not sure if I like it compared to DL - would definitely have to experience it in person before making an actual judgement call though.

The hub used to be much smaller and a few yrs ago they expanded it, added the turf grass park areas that helped with the massive crowding during fireworks. This happened maybe 8 yrs ago. I moved here in 2010 and it was the smaller hub at that time. It took quite awhile to make the beautiful change. Because the hub was now bigger it made the castle .look smaller so they added the extra turrets on each side.

So cool seeing you’re reaction. As an east coaster, we went to WDW multiple times a year when I was a kid, and then my wife and I went to Disneyland and DLP the first time when we were both early 20s, and this reminds me so much of that experience but in reverse. Now we’re San Diegans with Magic Keys, though it’s been a while since either of us have been to Florida so we’re right there with you laughing at how immense the place is. On a separate note, I can never call it anything but “DJ Dumbo” now.

It took me a minute to figure out what I was looking at when you were walking around the village area of the castle in fantasyland and then it dawned on me- it’s Cinderella’s village. If I hadn’t spent 17 years crouched on an overturned bucket in Storybook putting little wreaths and garlands on the doors and buildings of the miniature version, I might not have noticed it- but that’s exactly what that is. When you come home, go ride storybook and look at Cindy’s village- it will blow your mind a little.

Because of the amount of Real Estate stop Walt Disney acquired under dummy corporations he was able to do everything a lot bigger Splash Mountain is better we have a bigger version of The Haunted Mansion but I've heard several cast members tell me in the past Got The Magic Kingdom's parking lot could fit Disneyland in it
