11:27 keeping some sandbags in your vehicle helps in these situations. Just throw a handful of sand in front of each tire, get it under the tires as much as possible. Other things help too, such as cat litter, pea gravel, salt. You could also install automatic chains, but they are expensive.

I destroyed my tailgate on my truck years ago and replaced it with a fifth wheel tailgate and have been really happy with its functionality. There's many options for a tailgate for your truck that don't include having to get a factory tailgate.

Unfortunately for these trucks there isn’t.

Most tailgates are easy to remove. Thieves can sell them for drug money or whatever. If you search online, I’m sure you will find videos of how to secure your tailgate. There’s also videos of how to protect your cats from the thieves. How to keep your vehicle from being stolen. Nothing is 100% foolproof, but it helps to do something. One thing I would do is, remove the cat and install an exhaust pipe that is the same length as the cat. Make it easy to remove so I could put the cat back on before it’s time to have a vehicle inspection. Your check engine light will stay on as long as your cat is removed.
