During college I took a few Geology classes and one of them involved a 2-week road trip to a few geological feature stops including Bryce Canyon. Our instructor gave us the details on the rock formations and its history and all I can say is that it is just incredible on how Mother Nature works. She produces some of the most fascinating landscapes around the U.S. I am proud to say that now part of my job is to protect and preserve some of these features in the park system in California. Love my job!

I just went here a month ago and let me just say this was something to behold. I have never seen a scenery this impressive and jaw dropping in my entire life back here in California in all my 20 years of life. This just makes me even more proud of being in America and having all these dozens of national parks that no other country has and that I have yet to visit so to everyone watching, it is worth the visit.

Another way to see Bryce Canyon is at night when there is a full moon. Talk about oohs and ahhs! It’s unbelievable. I have lived in Utah all my life. As a family we would always travel to Bryce (staying at Ruby Inn campground) and Zion. I cannot count the times I’ve been there. In the summertime they have a wagon ride and cookout with a short program. It’s great. Thanks for highlighting our pretty great state. From the north to the south there is so many different things to see.

@chiefnakoma Both hikes are great. I would probably recommend the Fairyland Loop. It's longer both in time and distance than Navajo-Queens Garden, so I'd make the decision based upon the time you have available.

@@SteveSchmorleitz the plan is to get up there early for the entire day, so I think we'll do the Fairland loop for a longer hike and less crowds. Then, do the scenic drive and vistas. Bryce Canyon NP is a wonderful place to hike and explore. I visited this NP on Oct 3 and 4, 2024. The 2.2 mile Rim trail from Bryce Point to Sunset Point is breathtaking and relatively flat. The 0.7 mile Navajo loop trail is more difficult as hikers have to descend 500 ft to join the 2-mile Queen’s Garden trail to Sunrise Point. I had a minor disaster - the soles of my shoes started to come off in the middle of the hike. On top of that, my feet got blisters. Fortunately, Angelina, an exchange student from Switzeland, gave me her hair band to tie one shoe temporarily. Her host, Gerald from Michian, gave me bandages for the blisters. Thank you Angelina and Gerald. You are wonderful.

Every time you guys release a video we say “wow that was their best one yet!!” But seriously. This was really special. Thanks for taking us into the canyon on the hikes - that scenery was nothing short of breathtaking! Bryce Canyon National Park has a good ring to it - we can petition with Adam 😆

WOW!!! I mean Zion looks amazing but holy moly those Hoodoos at Bryce are unbelievable. I swear I need to talk the hubby into heading West to vacation. Our flat SE Michigan landscape is pretty darn boring😂. Another wonderful video you guys. Thanks for taking us with you on your journey.

Great video. The elevation kicked my butt hiking out of the Queens loop in 2018. Safe travels you 3

The elevation everywhere has been kicking our butts lately 😂 It’s tough out here!

Wow so breathtakingly beautiful. I think I will name a child Hoodoo! And dye their hair pink. Lol. I agree this park is A list bucket list! And u did not even discuss the night stars. Utah is a stunner and this is the pink gem!

Hahaha love it! And if only we had the energy to do sunrise, hike all day, and stay up for the night sky! We’ve missed out on that here, but 😴😴

Great video! You really had a full day! Sunrise and sunset! We’ve been there a few times; but haven’t done the fairyland loop; looks great but the elevation change; I don’t know if I could do it. Lol

Very long day! That seems to be the theme lately haha, so much to see and not enough time! The elevation change is tough, but it's helping prep us for some big hikes this summer!

I did the Fairyland Loop in 1998. it is still one of the most magnificent hike I have ever done. So thanks for sharing your journey at this gorgeous trail. I have to say I agree with you totally: the rim trail back to Sunrise Point is the most unpleasant part of the trail. You are exhausted. The scenery is no longer stunning. You just want it to be over and done with but somehow the trail seems to keep dragging on. I feel your pain at 12:09 😂😎

Hahaha it drug on and on! Next time we will get that part over with first!

@@AdventuresofAplusK You actually said it yourself at 8:46: you missed the memo 😁🤣. Everyone in the know goes clockwise to avoid the rim trail in the end. I wish I knew that in 1998. 😛
