I love all these videos. As an Australian, I’m living all of my American adventures through you two. But my favourite part has to be when Adam is talking to the camera and watching Kathryn look at your face while you speak…she is 1,000,000,000% in love with you. It caught my eye now I look for it. It’s really quite special. Thanks guys:)

First i owned 50 acres just sold it, just over the other side of that mountain, and those cows you saw on the road were the Weavers cows that have free range. Fred Weaver Ranch. Lived there off grid for ten yrs. and miss it with everything in me. Watch out for bears, and watch out cause I know the owners. Have fun there was a terrible fire in 2001 and another one in 2005, that looks by the looks of it, thinned out a lot of trees. Burned 8 acres of my property. But can’t remember how close it came to the ghost town.

Adventures of A plus K when you turn left off the frontage rd to go up the Granite Ghost Town rd. And get to the fork in the rd, if you were to take a right and at that cabin, those cows always gathered there and I talked to them, up that hill and go a mile or two to the top I had 50 acres up top with horses and lived there since 1999, sold it in 2019. I really miss it but I live on the Eastside of Montana now. Still will never leave the state. It is my soul. There is so much history here. Now I live up where the great dinosaurs were found, near the Canadian border. Glasgow, Mt. Ft. Peck is a Great Lake built by the army Corp of engineers back in the early thirties contracted by President Roosevelt to create jobs for the country after the list war and great depression. It feeds off the Glacier National Park. You could spend a month in Montana and never see all of it but you would never want to leave either. I miss the Rockies more than I can say.

Hey A + K! I was going to catch up on your current vids, and this one came up. I had to watch. I drove up to Bannack, MT, a few weeks ago-my first ghost town! It's a Montana state park with preserved structures, not restored, and you can walk through many of the buildings. I camped in the nearby Pioneer mountains. Anyway, I'll have to add Garnet to my list of places to go. BTW, nothing beats Cracker Barrel boondocking!
@AdventuresofAplusK2 жыл бұрын

The store/bars building is the creepiest to me. I got some weird vibes when I went to the back room. I wouldn’t even walk in there lol. I think it was a cellar type room to keep things cool. That first house you went in has a sad back story. The owners of the house had a child and the child died. Part of the garnet did end up getting burned down. Anyways I hope you guys had fun in Montana. I live in Montana. Not Missoula but I do visit a lot. Missoula is pretty cool. If you’re ever back you should go to the Oxford.
@AdventuresofAplusK5 жыл бұрын
That back room creeped us out so badly! But that totally makes sense that it was a cellar room. We had a great time and are so bummed we couldn’t explore more of the state. We will be back next summer and will check out the Oxford!

I was hoping to get a Sprinter 4x4 2019; unfortunately they're extremely hard to get. I'm now considering a two-wheel drive version and adding an Agile RIP kit for additional clearance and larger off-road tires. I don't believe you've done anything with your suspension/tires, have you had any issues with clearance and/or feel the need for four-wheel drive? Thanks!
@AdventuresofAplusK5 жыл бұрын
Hi Ralph! We hear the 4x4s are sooo hard to get right now! We would’ve loved one just for the feeling that we could go anywhere, but we decided to save the money and not get one. We haven’t had any issues with clearance yet! We have been on a few super rough roads and we just go so slow (no joke, we went 3mph on one lol!). We mostly try to camp on forest roads and haven’t had any issues. We do read reviews though to make sure it doesn’t say we would need a 4x4. It has I guess limited us in some spots we can park at night, but we usually find another good option. We also aren’t super big snow people, so for us that made it easier to not get a 4x4. We almost got better tires, but were over budget so skipped on that for now. I hope that helps a tiny bit!
@ralphkeith5015 жыл бұрын
@@AdventuresofAplusK thanks for your response. I also asked a friend that spends summers on the fire and forest roads all over Idaho, Utah, Montana, etc. He feels that clearance and good tires will get you to 95% of the places. Highly recommends a good recovery kit...winch, tow straps and so on. You've both help make up my mind to go with a 2wd Sprinter and Agile suspension package. Thanks!
