Boat Transport Ep.2 - Lake O, Stuart’s Sunset Harbor Marina and Sailfish Marina, Palm Beach

Day 2 moviing the 56’ Sea Ray Sedan Bridge “Privacy” (former Miss Meg) tots winter home in Marathon Florida in the keys.
On this trip we depart Clewiston’s Rowland Martin Marina, traverse Lake Okeechobee, lock through Port Mayaca and St Lucie locks and see some sights along the way like Indiantown marina and dodge a train bridge in Stuart. Passing Jupiter, we get to see boaters on sandbars , a bridge construction, Peanut Island and Sailfish Marina in Palm Beach. Stopping for a few drinks at the tiki bar and watching the fish before turning in for the night for the next leg of our journey.

Not a bad life my friend Our house in Cape Coral is supposed to be done by the end of the year and I’ve got to get an island hopper for my home/dock. I’m unsure whether I’m getting a center console or runabout or even something like your Regal.

If you don’t plan on spending overnights on it, avoid the cabin boat. Easier pulling up on sandbars and beaches with a center console, pontoon or deck boat. However deck boat maintenance is usually a PITA.

@@AdventuresofHappyOurs thanks for the advice. I’ve seen prices going down on some of the center consoles. I really just want a great engine on an OK boat and I’ll be happy. It’s going to be sitting on the boatlift most of the time due to my travels.

4’ 6” draft. Only low water to worry about was pulling into Marathons marina. Kicked up some sand.

There's no excuse in this day and age for the horrible wind noise. Very few KZbinrs have issues with noise any more.
