Quebec Winter Carnival (AKA Carnaval de Québec) is held yearly in one of Canada’s oldest cities (Quebec City) and is the LARGEST winter festival in North America! We had the pleasure of spending two days taking in the sights and enjoying the festivities. From eating Maple Taffy and Beaver Tails to riding electric snow trikes and an 800-foot-long toboggan slide, the Quebec Winter Carnival did not disappoint! For the little time you were there, on a weekday, late start and all, you got a lot in, and got so much great footage to show how much we all need to go to Quebec for Carnival 😊 Funny to say, but I do miss bundling up and going out in the snow. There's a much smaller ice festival at the 1000 Island Harbor Hotel that goes on every Valentine's week. Has Fireworks and over looks the St Lawrence River. You guys would love the quaint little town surrounding it too. If you ever do a 1000 Islands video, there's so much to do there, especially in the summer.

We went to Quebec City this time last year. For a long 4 day weekend. We loved it. Love the charm & the European flair. Everything seems so much more colourful & flavourful & pleasant / happier. (than Toronto). You can’t have a bad meal or snack. Every place is prettier than the next. We also love Montreal. We try to go every other year. Stay in Old Montreal. Which is similar to old Quebec City. Amazing loft hotels. The best we’ve ever been too. Have fun. Glad to have you in our country. What’s next on your radar ? We just came back from Aruba, Cabarete Dominican & leaving tomorrow for Varadero Cuba. That’s how us fortunate Canadians deal with winter. Haha. Be safe & have fun.

We were there for the week of new years this year! It was a warm holiday season so we didn’t get to do the toboggan sadly it wasn’t open. We stayed at the frontenac! The city was amazing, so fun seeing it now with the snow! Next time you should also try the strom spa!

Oh wow! I didn’t realize it had been that warm on New Years! How cool to stay at the Frontenac! That’s on our bucket list for the next time we visit! So happy you loved the city! We did the Siberian Spa last time we went & loved it. We just couldn’t fit it into this trip, We’ve heard amazing things about the Strom Spa so we’ll have to check that out next time!!
