Curved seams can be difficult for a beginner but there are lots of tutorials out there for each step of sewing something like this! I can't say I'd recommend this fabric for your first project though, it is not easy to work with

Oh wow it’s amazing Also hydrogen peroxide can help get blood out of fabrics. It works with cotton at least

Have you tried a walking foot? You could also try some tear away stabilizer to help it to feed through the feed dogs on the machine.
