Danno & Jess, thank you for taking all of us with you on your vacation❤ I've been an adult 50+ years now and still enjoy purchasing new Themed decor items every year 😊 the only disappointment I've had is snow globes! I've had 2 Hallmark & 1 Disney that were all large sized nearly $100 each that I got in the 90s and the liquid went black within 20 years 😢 Jess, if you're unsure about the cropped T shirts - I think they look just fine over a basic sleeveless knit dress😊 😊

Have fun! Stayed there in May with my mom who’s in a wheelchair. All of the ADA barrier free rooms are on the first floor and have more space and bigger bathrooms and showers. ❤❤ Love Port Orleans! Enjoy!

My husband took me to Disney for my 50th! It was my first "real" Disney trip. ( I was there years ago, 3 parks in 1 day. That's why I didn't count it.) We stayed as Port Orleans Riverside Royal guest room! I felt like a princess! So happy for you that you guys get to go so often! Disney is a fabulous place! Happy Birthday, Jess!

I miss disney so much! Used to go to the parks all the time and 28 Disney Cruises ( we are from Michigan)Sadly, I can not look past their current administration and their woke agenda so I can not give them a penny. We lived riverside resort, was our favorite. I hope they change their ways so I can come back

Hey from the South Carolina Coast. We have stayed there several times. The Princess Rooms, river view of course. Great resort. Th best part of it is the "water Uber" down to Disney Springs each night. Eat and drink and have a great boat ride back to the resort. Nice food court also

My in-laws literally lived 1 hour away from Disneyland. They went there alot! Sadly we had to sell their beautiful home in the Villages 2 years ago. Fil in a nursing home mil passed away 2 years ago. They loved Disneyland! Even tho their grand children weren't always there!

Fun vid and thx for including us on the tour. You can't bear staying on Disney Prop, however if I had to stay in that room you had last night.....the hotel, the view, the fireworks every night (in air-conditioned comfort) for a week...I would have no problem!!!!!

My wife and I stayed at that resort for our honeymoon 25 years ago next week. Back then it was Dixie Landings Resort. It still looks the same. It took me back to see the towel Mickey from housekeeping. The restaurant was Boatwrights and they had a partially built boat on the ceiling. We had a great time there at the resort and taking the boat down the river. Hope that you guys enjoy!!!

Port Orleans is our all time favorite resort. We have stayed there several times. The gift shop is amazing. One time the clerk gave me a trading pin which I still have because she observed me being kind to another visitor by letting her go ahead of me in line. We especially loved riding the boats to Disney Springs. We last stayed there in 2018 for our 60th anniversary.They originally put is in the Bayou section but we had them move us to the plantation sections. Rooms were much more spacious& brighter. Also check your AC/ heater. The one in the bayou section looked like it had never cleaned inside.

I have two of those ceiling fans in my house. Love them. They are quiet and do a great job. I think the rack by the coffee pot is for hanging up your mugs not hanging clothes.

First, i apologize for my language in yesterday's comment, it was my direct quote once i saw the amazing view you had but should have been edited. I Apologize. Besides being Halloween i would expect more Villains swag with the Villains Land for Magic Kingdom announced at D23 this year. Let me know about your experience with the Pillows in your room if you would in your room review, i have noticed they have changed them over the years (i do not like them). Port Orleans was once called Dixie Landing (clear why the name was changed) and was one of the oldest resorts on property, may explain some things. I use a fan at night to sleep also, i use a smaller travel size (12"x12") turbo fan for down there i keep in my owner's locker partially because finding a spot for my big one was getting difficult.

Love the room! I'm not sure there are enough 100+ year old oak trees to be authentic Louisiana, but close enough. However, Ive only driven through the bayou area once. I'm more familiar with New Orleans. Yeah, you need some real Louisiana food. Like seafood.😋 If you ever see ftied alligator listed as an appetizer, get it! It's as good, if not better than chicken fingers. Crab cakes are good, too. Shrimp ettoufee (I prefer it over CRAWfish) is another suggestion, as well as jambalaya. And you already mentioned gumbo.

Well, I am a scooter person...we also stayed in Allegator Bayou. The handicapped accessable room was perfect with walk in shower & even the beds were lower. The room could've been a little bigger to make it easier to scoot around but it was fine....I think we will try Drury's on our next trip. Does Drury have busses to the parks?

It's me, again! We did not like the food court food at all. The only disappointment was that the boat going to Disny Springs was not operating because of low water. Take a walk over to the French Quarter for breakfast...I know you've had the Micky biegnets but I think they're worth another helping! They stop serving them pretty early so walk fast! It's a gorgeous walk to the French Quarter...

Hotel looks cool! Friday the 13th 🔪 is this week and that’s when the Hershey park Halloween 🎃 opens. I have plans to be in Disney next month. I have some reservations for breakfast at the Winnie the Pooh restaurant (crystal palace I think it is called?). Hopefully the food there is good. I am saving up now for the meal it looks like it will be a very expensive breakfast with Pooh bear and his friends! 😝
