I'm sorry to hear about your shoulder. Try alternating ice and heat ... dampen a towel and nuke it for about 30-45 seconds in the microwave. If you have an extra, put it in a trash bag (holds in the heat). I used to do that if a patient had an ache to keep from charging for a heating pad. If it doesn't feel better or gets worse, please have it checked.Feel better soon. I know Jessica will take good care of you and not let you overdo it. If you don't feel like putting up a video, don't worry. We'll be here when you do ❤ Safe travels.

I had terrible shoulder pain just like you and I got some organic castor oil and massaged that into my shoulder for 3 days and my pain has been gone for months. Hope you feel better soon and enjoy your vacation!!

Oh Danno, Im so sorry to hear you are hurting. Like others said if you can get a heating pad or ice pack try that as well. If the hotel has a jacuzzi try that maybe too...hot shower? Hugs and prayers 🙏❤️

Pillows really help with shoulder problems. You kind of have to play around with the pillow size, firmness, and thickness. But, the results are worth it.

Danno, I did something similar to my shoulder. I,reached behind to grab a pillow and WHAM !! 😢😫😫. That was a couple of months ago. Apparently I had partially dislocated it and it popped back in . now left with a bruise in the bone. The pain at times has been excruciating. I’m having an MRI next week. Heat/ice and ibuprofen helps the inflammation . I hope you feel better soon and enjoy your trip.👍🏻👍🏻‼️

Morning, Danno! We are traveling out west. In the small town we are in they have a Safeway that is TINY. And the prices are pretty steep. Hope your shoulder is ok soon. I use generic Voltaren Gel, mixed with Lidocaine gel. Doesn't take much, maybe a dime size of each. And it works better if you massage it in. I avoid pills too.

I have a lifetime shoulder rotor cuff issue. I could give more detail. My friend Dan, be thankfull yours is not worse and please heal soon. The physical pain can become severe, but hopfully you will be fine soon. Edit: I just want y'all well.

Try bengay on your shoulder. I have shoulder issues I use bengay and a roll on CBD. I also do massage every 8 weeks. A year ago I couldnt raise my arms above my chest level now I can put them over my head. Massage totally helps

Need to soak in a tub of hot water or an actual hot tub. Always does good for joint pain. You might need a cortisone shot between the shoulder blades. Helped me a great deal, instant relief. Hopefully you will get well soon.

I just made iit to Vero Beach late Thurs. night after driving 2 11 hour days. I agree about the truckers. It made my trip very difficult and I was pulling a trailer. I really appreciate what all the truckers do because we couldn’t make it without them. Like you said there were hundreds of them every where. This was my craziest drive too. We do need a solution. It was scary. Hope your shoulder feels better..

Check the resort for a massage! My husband hurt his rotator, he couldn't lay on his back, shoulder blade hurt, tahe Aleve, it's better for inflammation, 2 at a time, a heating pad works wonders. If it's muscle you can get a cortisone shot, I had that happen after I slid into 3rd base lol, I was 35 haha. It stopped the pain.

The ultimate footlong sub is on sale at Publix for $7.99 this week. There are a bunch of Publix's in Florida since their headquarters are in Florida. They are really good. I like them on white mountain bread, but all of their breads are good. If you get it on white mountain bread, it will come with 2 sandwiches for a whole sub.

Hot Tub Emergency. I do not mean that jokingly, lean into a hot tub jet for a while once you are at your resort (which resort is it?), it isnt going to cure it but it likely will ease the pain a great deal.

Nice road trip! Danno find a DT and get a few Absorbing Jr back patches, and a pair of scissors~cut in pieces and place on your shoulder area and this may help. Enjoy your trip! I love road trips~I do 12 hrs a day max because I drive a stick shift! Ida 😉🙃

I am so sorry you are hurting. I hope you can have a good trip. Atlanta traffic is always insane lol. When we would drive down here we always make sure to hit Atlanta overnight. When you are driving back and forth, you need to check out the Winn Dixie in Haines City. They redid the store and it is beautiful. It reminds me of Publix, how the have it now. It is incredible how they changed it. If the holiday inn has a weight room, try to use a light weight and do some arm curls. That may help work the soreness out of your shoulder.

If you have time, check out Silver Glen Springs in the Ocala National Forest. We love to snorkel there and is the best springs in Florida in our opinion. You can also kayak and canoe and see monkeys in the tree at Silver Springs Park. If you are close to Tampa, we like Weeki Wachee Springs Park. It's a very old park but good. You can see a mermaid show. You can snorkel there in the springs and also kayak and canoe. A good place to eat in Orlando if you like Chicago Pizza is Giordanos. Love their pizza! They have one in Chicago too.

I get tendonitis in both shoulders, and I know it's the way I sleep. Got so bad in the right shoulder earlier in the year I had to go to the orthopedic doctor. X-ray didn't really show anything and after having me do a few arm motions, he said it was tendonitis and offered me a shot. Got the shot, it throbbed like hell the rest of the day into the night. Woke up the next morning and no pain.

I can recommend ibuprofen gel . Here in Germany it is called DOC pain gel. Works pretty good in my opinion. Get well soon and have a nice vacation. Greetings from 🇩🇪

Hi Danno and Jess Sorry to hear about along the way pain. Try Epson salt that works when you soak it for like 45 minutes. Or should help you. Being an ex truck driver for 30 years you did what you could to deal with pain on a daily. Basis. Just enjoy yourselves and take care. A muscle cream spotless do good like ben gay. Anything that penetrates the skin. Warm shower 🚿 with the water on mostly where the pain is best. Ice packs are good as well. Take care and enjoy your time Danno and Jess. God bless 🙌 😊

Get you a prescription of an anti-inflammatory called Celecoxib. It helped my shoulder a lot. Get you some Voltaren too to rub on your shoulder. A cortisone shot in the shoulder should be the last option. I had left shoulder surgery 2 years ago. I had calcifications in my shoulder and frozen shoulder caused by diabetes. Also eat an anti-inflammatory diet which is low sugar foods.

try "icy hot Balm" { icy hot roll on} on your shoulder and spine. My husband often will rub the icy hot balm on my shoulder and spine . often times like an hour later with some Aleve that I am feeling wonderful again . if that doesn't work consider urgent care for muscle relaxers. It sounds like to me that you are a side sleeper. I have this problem with my right shoulder because I sleep on my right side.

Welcome to Georgia ! Yes Georgia traffic is insane all around lots new growth safe travels rush hour traffic . Hope your shoulder feels better soon. Rotate with heat and ice portable ice /heat pack that you can just put in the freezer if you need heat it can be heated up in the microwave. Also try icy Hot rub or another kind of muscle rub of your choice. Yes I've gone through Tennessee it's rough There is nothing wrong with the economy There are plenty of truck drivers delivering food ...ect to stores there are no shortages. I work in retail and we get two trucks every week. Cold truck with your refrigerated food and Frozen. Then we got our dry food and merchandise ,seasonal. I am busting my butt to get merchandise out every week to the shelves.😊

Summer and this time of year is really the only time a load will come OUT of Florida. Not many loads otherwise come out of Florida, during other times of the year, certain times of the year, my husband won't take loads to Florida because more times than not, he would have to come out of Florida empty. We are out North now, and he is working in "The Bakken" . All summer he did loads back and fourth with produce from FL to WI or IL or to Kroger in Cincinnati.
