I think the ex-husband may be mistaken about his ex-wife’s mental state on the night she disappeared. For a person to openly admit ideations of self-harm while exhibiting increased agitation, anxiety, and secretive behavior for an extended period of time, and then be completely calm and rational as described by the ex-husband, is often an indicator the person is no longer experiencing internal conflict and has made a decision.

This happened in marysville, CA. The woman went to the store to get milk and vanished. Fast forward 20 years they found her in her car along with the milk she bought at the bottom of Ellis lake. Right around the corner from where she lived. In the middle of town.. her kids thought she abandoned them. Sad.

I have a question for you, friend. I am curious to know what the natural rate of decomposition is for people who go missing underwater, but I'm afraid of what might show up in my search feed even on Safe Mode (being not one for horror). If a body is found after being submerged in a freshwater river for about a year, what general state would they be in? I ask this specifically because I'm trying to write a fictional story involving such a case, but I want this part to be truthful.
@sleepynightowl1550
@sleepynightowl1550 11 ай бұрын
Under water a body decomposes generally slower than on land. But it largely depends on the water temperature, too. The cooler the water the slower the decomposition process, because it slows bacterial growth. The skin will be discolored green with decomposition and later on gases build up inside the body, increasing its buoyancy and it will resurface if it's not stuck. I'm afraid but you'll have to make your own research and look at some pictures if you want to write about it. One of the first rules of good writing I ever learned was to only write about what you as author know well. Because only then will you be able to draw your readers in with a lively, creative and vivid writing skill. So in order for you to write about how such an underwater body would look like, you'll first have to have seen it yourself unfortunately. Good luck with your story! @@NatYourAverageNerd

I have a feeling either she walked away and found a way to ditch the car or if what the ex-husband says is true she got into one of her blackout episodes and went someone where not knowing who she was because it has happened in the past. I do agree with others that the ex-husband knows more than what he is saying because I find it hard to believe that if someone you love and care about is going missing for 2 hours or having blackout episodes not knowing where they are you are not just going to take a it's none of your business' responce and drop the issue. Now with that being said we don't know the entire story or what is going on with her mental state.

I can't imagine how that must be for her family. The blackouts concern me. I've often wondered - do you inform law enforcement later on, that you've cleared a bunch of waterways in their area? FYI, in case they might have their own worries in the water?
@righthererightnow7043
@righthererightnow7043 10 ай бұрын
I don't know this for sure, I am just guessing. But I don't think that law enforcement can officially "rule out" certain areas just because a private team of investigators has ruled it out. I am guessing that if they would want to rule it out officially, they would still have to go and check it for themselves.

I have to wonder how her ex-husband knew she'd often be gone for hours, arriving home very late, and why he felt that she needed to call him and let him know of her whereabouts at all times. Does he know more about her mental state than he said in the phone call or is he a controlling and domineering individual? I certainly hate to cast stones but something about that phone gives me an odd feeling.

There are others that do this work too, they all talk together and help one another. Check some AWP’s earlier work as they mention them and have them with them. They will give about 3 others.

They could have pressed charges 30 years ago!! All of you so called friends should be ashamed of yourselves!!! WHO ARE Y'ALL TO BE JUDGING,SOME BODY!! Hi guys this probably won’t get to you but I saw a video of you guys taking a case in Astoria Oregon about a missing woman in a bronco or truck, it was an older video if I remember correctly, but I was freediving in seaside Oregon which is a town over from Astoria and I found a truck underwater that may fit the discription, it is upside down goes back and forth getting buried by sand in the seaside estuary, I called the police and they didn’t have record of a vehicle in that area and I was unable to get a license plate from the truck because of the sand so nothing was done. It may be a long shot but it might be who you were looking for, I’m gonna keep going back and hopefully get a plate but thought id reach out

Martha Lavonne Evans, a brown 1984 Ford Ranger pickup truck with numerous dents, a 7-Up sticker in the window, and the Oregon license plate number PNB116. Might not need the license plate if you can figure out what it is by the parts. Maybe get a video of it??

Where the water was shallow for like 100 feet out. What if that water wasn't there when she went missing. What if she could have drove down to where there's deep water and it drops off there. We are talking about 2014. That was 9 years ago. So there's a chance that that shallow water wasn't even there. Could this have happened?
