Great little spot you guys got. It’s nice to see a dad take his kids out camping and show them the ropes. Teaching them about outdoor life, showing them that there is more to this world than cellphones, tablets and TV. Well done Spackman!! Well done 👍

This video is a breath of fresh air after watching too many ultralight camping/ hiking videos, lol. Not that i haven't learned a few tricks from them. One of my favorite camping trips was going to the boundary waters in MN and doing this type of camping and portaging the canoes. Eta, I would really like to see you do a few videos on different camping food options EI dehydrated vs freeze dryed meals vs fresh.

The one and only thing I would have done differently is sautéed some onion up in that beef for the sloppy Joes. Camping with you would be so much fun with your light heated attitude and positivity. Your kid is so lucky that she isn't just given a smartphone and told to be quiet and she is getting this kind of upraising. Your daughter is less scared of a salamander that most of the men I work with to be honest. Looks like you all had a fantastic trip and I'm glad I got to be part of it second hand.
@AdventureswithSpackmann2 ай бұрын
I would have added onions too and I had some with me but Jay is not a fan so I saved my onions for my hot dogs. Don’t get me wrong she had her phone with her but it was down more than it was in her hands. Im the lucky one cause she comes with me. I cherish every single one of these moments. And she will too.
