Adventuring on my Gheenoe 13'

Do you have any major issues with putting a 9.9, since the 13' is only rated at 5hp? Having been in the coast guard, I get a bit on edge when going over what the coast guard rates boats for horsepower. But I am looking to trying to get a bit more speed out of my gheenoe..I hit 15.1 with my little 5hp though which is not bad!

I had absolutely no problems with the 9.9 and even considered going up to a 15 but with caution lol. Always gotta respect the waters

Glad you liked It! Honestly I've been on many Gheenoes and they are far more stable than any Jon boat. I dont see why you shouldn't be able too rig something up on the bow!
