Dear Atul You're absolutely correct, but only when it's a time clause. For example, I have not seen him since I left Delhi. ( since I left Delhi जब से मैंने दिल्ली छोड़ी= subordinate adverb clause of time) On the other hand I did it since I wanted to do it. ( Since I wanted to do it. क्योंकि मैं यह करना चाहता था = subordinate adverb clause of reason)

Sir , I have an questions to you.. 'because' is a Subordinating conjunction... So why we use 'because' in a compound sentence sometimes?... Please make a video in this regard...
@englishguruamansir6 ай бұрын
No, "because" is not typically used as a coordinating conjunction to make a compound sentence. "Because" is a subordinating conjunction, which means it introduces a subordinate (dependent) clause and shows a cause-and-effect relationship between the two clauses. Coordinating conjunctions, on the other hand, join two independent clauses and include words like "and," "but," "or," "nor," "for," "so," and "yet." For example: - Coordinating conjunction: "I wanted to go for a walk, but it started raining." - Subordinating conjunction: "I wanted to go for a walk because it was a beautiful day."

Here the word 'so' functions as an adverb modifying 'cold'. Here 'so' means 'very'.

He was very happy. You have passed. He was very happy that you have passed . the above sentence is wrong because main clause in past so subordinate clause must be in past. But you mention it as right. Please correct it .
@englishguruamansir Жыл бұрын
Yes you are right. The following sentence "He was happy that you have passed" is not grammatically correct. The sentence appears to be in the past tense ("He was happy") but the verb "have passed" is in the present perfect tense, which does not agree with the past tense. To make it grammatically correct, you could change the verb "have passed" to the simple past tense "passed" to match the past tense of the first part of the sentence. The corrected sentence would be: "He was happy that you passed."
