i think the ultimate key is to slowly transition your time and energy from career -> entrepreneurial pursuits. start off 90:10 and every year transition 10% until after 5 years of the workforce you find yourself more invested into your entrepreneurial goals. its a gradual hedge and by then you'll have good money saved up for flexibility and to scale, a respectable amount of knowledge obtained from the corporate life, and the maturity and wisdom to really take your business to the next level.
