I'm interested in converting. And I'm seeking out to learn more about Islam for if and when I take my Shahada. I don't know any Muslims where I live and there are no mosque either. It's so encouraging when I come across Muslims online that are spreading a good message. Thank you sisters for this video.

I truly love and deeply appreciate your videos!! This channel has been helping me so much! I found Islam 5 months ago. I have not fully commited yet, because of the preconceptions that I was told about Islam and the false claims about the way it regards male and female, husband and wife dynamics. My character and whole existence is being challenged by learning more about it. It is truly a battle within me, because I have to deconstruct myself, in order to overcome the negative effects of being raised as a "strong, independent woman, who should not try to please a man", because I was taught that it is a sign of weakness and negatively regarded servitude. I am just begining to understand what it truly means to be a woman! So these videos are making my journey to Islam, and to become a woman and a loving person so much easier! Thank you!!

That was such a beautiful write up. Wow, couldn't have said it better. This is truly the plight of many of those that are waking up to the reality of the current human condition. As well as the plight of those who found Islam and Islam went to them, it truly is a difficult undertaking the peeling off of the negative and false preconceived ideas. Wish you the best sis, keep seeking that knowledge but don't overwhelm yourself. One step at a time, as cliche as it is, is the best approach.

I am glad I found this talk. I am not Muslim - yet. I was raised to not trust it, but as an older woman now I look for myself and I am finding there is so much freedom in it in many ways. To speak of things such as this in this way as the Village Auntie does - would get you kicked out of the churches I was raised in. I am also divorcing - a man of 33 years who in the last 10 years has not been faithful and left me to be alone at home, interest in sex gone and more. I refuse to be treated so and out aside for other women. But I have…. Found a man, a Muslim man, who wishes to marry me even though we have only chatted online and via text and shared pictures. I cannot have kids anymore and am older. He does not wish children unless we take in any in need and is fine with my age. He does not pressure me to become Muslim either. This open conversation about intimacy with your partner makes me think, maybe this is where I should be. Thank you for sharing all of this. The next year will determine if I will marry him, we will meet face to face in maybe 8 months. But I feel such connection in my head, heart and yes sexually already even not know that’s of him. Thank you! I hope I can find my way enough to know if Islam is my place and to know if he is my destiny as well. I just want happiness and a simple, honest life - serving how I should.

My mother even noticed a change in me - appearing more peaceful and happy and less stressed. Now I complete this divorce and MashaAllah - I may have a house in Turkey I may go to see in next month or so - and then if I buy it - home is taken care of and the man I spoke of will join me n Turkey and he has already said he will take care of me = house or not! Over my years, I struggled with my sexuality and my sensuality. Now I am at a point that I have become numb and uninterested. Truly, I believe that they both can exude beautifully when one has confidence.

I cannot begin to tell you how much I enjoyed this video. Everything she said about Senegalese culture I can definitely confirm. Men & women are taught how to be "Djongue" from a young age. And I think it is so important for Muslims to have representation when it comes to sexuality. I thank God everyday that I have been born in such an open family. I got married this year and my mother is the one who guided me through my first few nights with my husband the things we openly discuss would be cringey to some but I wouldn't have it any other way.😄

Allaahumma baarik alayhunna. Maa shaa Allaah u are doing a lot for the young sisters out there. As practicing women we need to be open with our daughters (and our sons) so they don't have to seek knowledge elsewhere and inevitably fall into misinformation. Marriage is the only relationship that our beautiful religion permits us to express our sexuality, be open with our femininity etc, yet it's often shrouded in this cloak of disgust that many women take with them into marriage. This needs to stop. Shyness is part of faith, but it also has its place and limits. Alhamdulillaahi Raabil Aalameen. Jazakunnallaahu khair

Ustadhas Nai'ma and Angelica do valuable work. God bless them. Theirs is not a divisive rhetoric, but one of men and women working together for the common purpose of servitude to one's Creators and service to his creation. One point ought to be borne in mind during these conversations: when we talk about "problems in the 'Muslim' community" regarding Anglosphere marriages, we tend to mean south Asian demographics - particularly the UK. This is inevitable by proportion alone, but I believe that these problems are a result of deep-set dysfunctionalities. Such dysfunctionalities include - primarily - the squalid ignorance regarding basic rights and responsibilities of the Shariah in letter and spirit, with the predominance of a village Islam and superstition in a cosmopolitan metropolis. This is compounded by customs of multi-generational cousin marriages, infantilised adult males with Madonna complexes, and unnecessary taboos regarding sex. My friends who work as imams report that south Asian wives regularly complain to them of the sexual inadequacies of their husbands. None of this is inevitable. Education can transform for the better. But until mosques open up for these conversations, the status quo continues. I have long argued that south Asians (as a general rule, across their varied demographics) ought not to be spokesmen for the Muslim population as a whole. South Asians do not see their non-Muslim neighbours as their "people", their qawm, to use the Quranic Arabic term of how the Prophets addressed their nations. South Asians, owing to the colonial experience too, have complexes that make them unreliable as healthy visionaries for our communities. On the other hand, indigenous Britons ('black,' 'white' and anyone else who have healthy relationships with their non-Muslim family and friends) ought to lead the Muslim peoples of the UK. It is only the likes of Sheikh Habeeb Akande (a British Azhar graduate of a Nigerian descent), Imam Shadeed Muhammad of Delaware, our two speakers above, and others of non-south Asian backgrounds, who have done the work that was overdue in this vital part of our lives. There have been legalistic works by south Asian scholars, but they are unable to tap into the reserves of resentment and pathologies of sexually frustrated young folk. Most of these south Asian scholars have lived in all male environments, had an arranged marriage, and never had to demonstrate any "Game" in their lives. To God alone do we raise our hopes for the reforms required. He has power over all matters. May he champion all those doing good and compound their works for the greater fulfilment for all. And God knows best!

From a man perspective: God created most women to be beautiful to men. This is mentioned in the Quran, where god mentions that women were created like a decoration in this life for Men. the Arabic word for it is zeena which mean decoration. In my honest opinion, most women don't need makeup or perform in a certain way to attract men. God has made women to be attractive naturally even without any makeup or any special performance or behavior. Men were ordered to guard their gaze when meeting a women because the force of attraction is so strong to the point the man may not be able to control himself. Sisters don't need to worry about whether they can attract Men, and know that you should only show your beauty to your husband. There's nothing wrong if a woman wants to please her husband by wearing makeup or acting in a feminine way. It's better not judge a person so god will not judge you. Acting too judgmental is not good for human soul. Just marry to a person you think you can get along through out your life, if you chose a person that is willing to accept all your imperfections and flaws, and is willing to work with you to maintain the relationship even with all the problems you both face then you have chosen the right person. You know you have chosen the right person if your marriage doesn't end in divorce too soon. Know that Allah has created a woman for every man so if you don't choose him and act too judgmental toward him then Allah will send someone else to choose him and take your place

Sexiness I hope is for your spruce. Trust me when I say you don’t want to bring attention to yourself when you walk or talk in public. So Sisters don’t bring attention to yourself from the opposite sex. Talk from the Quran and Sunnah. Thank you all may Allah guide us all!!

In Islam sex between husband and a wife is considered a blessing, human beings are the only creature who face each other during sex and that is considered a mercy from Allah. God granted us the ability to feel pleasure. Spirituality is the purification of the soul and and sex is similar to the body.

Asaalam walaikum ladies. I am new to the muslim community. There is something I can't wrap my understanding about. Why is it that a Muslim woman wears a full face of makeup with eyeshadow, eyeliner, foundation, lipstick and powder when you must do wudu 5 times a day? Your makeup looks flawless. Do you have to redo it every time? I don't have anyone I can have that conversation with. Please help me understand.

Hello sister. Asaalam walaikum. Thanks for the return. Unfortunately I am in hospital with some kidney complications. I pray that I can turn this around with medication. My chances are slim. Please pray for me to avoid dialysis again. I did it for 10. 1/ 2 years This stupid plandemic has taken so many people down. Sickening. I have tried different medication rounds but none has stopped the rejection of my transplanted kidney. Incha Allah it in God's hands. I put faith that Allah has a plan that is best for me. In the mean time I wish you the best in life for bringing awareness to those like me who recently shahaddad( not sure I spelled it right 😄) I thank Allah for your wisdom and support!

Walaikum salaam, sis. I wasn’t praying at the time of this interview. I am only wearing this makeup because my friend used me as a model for her beauty business and the shoot wrapped right before this interview. Your skin has to be properly wet with water when making wudhu so you have to be careful in order to protect your prayer. May Allah bless you for seeking that which is correct and make it easy for you to find portals for accurate religious knowledge. Allahumma Ameen.

,,,Sharia law a woman has to bring 4 male witness of her rape :) In Dubai an english girl was raped and accused adultery. In Pakistan young christian gilrs are kidnapped raped and "married to a Muslim" converted to Islam. There is also a lack of recognition of marital rape by mainstream jurists. there is no penal code in Saudi Arabia, and there is no written law which specifically criminalizes rape or prescribes its punishment. In addition, there is no prohibition of marital rape.

Before we have the sex talk, female ‘circumcision’ should be talked about. That’s a hug topic that most be touched upon to be able to talk about sex. Unfortunately a lot speakers either forget that, aren’t aware or are afraid to talk about it.

@@akhan6778 Female circumcision comes in different forms. It’s where a part ( can be small and/large) of the female sexual organ is cut off and or sewn together. It’s still unclear what part in the ‘sunnah’ female circumcision should be cut off. All the scholars say is ‘not too much’. Only a few give guidance to what part to cut. But the bad thing is that they all use the same reason to justify female circumcision: the lessen the female’s sexual feeling/arousal/drive. And that’s totally wrong. It goes against Islamic teachings.
@akhan6778
@akhan6778 2 жыл бұрын
@@xSunnyDaysx wow iv never even heard of it before, but the thing is so many people are being put off by the scholars because they are hearing things from the scholars that they have never come across before or are getting told this is jaiz and that is jaiz in Islam where they have been told the opposite of that before, especially during this so called pandemic that no scholar even did any research through and made all sorts of wrongs right and so many rights wrong

. Why hasn't anyone addressed the mahr/ مهر? Mahr is a mandatory gift that the husband gives to his wife at the wedding. It is a financial arrangement that the groom must make with the bride before the wedding. The amount of money or possessions of the Mahr is paid by the groom to the bride at the time of marriage for her exclusive use.

Love this video because your right the ideal of what is sexy is so damaging it’s unbelievable trueness means nothing anymore. To me femininity on the outside is long hair size 12, im5”11 (that’s when I feel most beautiful on the outside) then strong walk confidence in yourself that oozes through all you do every step you take and decision you make belief in yourself intelligent conversation and a strong true laugh I think a lot of our souls have been corrupted by the idea of what others think I don’t want something as simple as my skin colour representing I want true happiness in yourself to be reflected on all of the shit ads they shove down our throats. the chemical ridden food to be gone the “I want it now order online I must have this new thing to feel good” idea to be squashed and I want my people to find their religion again we deserve it

Oops, I'm obsessed with the women in hijab or burka. I see them as attractive any time I see them and contemplating you, leaves me mesmerizing and in a sense of awe. That's why I'm waiting to find my decent and covered companion. Sex out of marriage is just wrong, it is emotionally destructive, haunting, and leaves you empty. Sisters, don't bow to the norms of what is been portrayed in the media, music, and the screens.
