I swear I’ve seen three episodes of Billy on Tom and every time they discuss the imposters. Did this film ever come out 😂

I looked on wikipedia, Imposters came out in 1998. Also has Tony Shaloub and Steve Buscemi, that's a plus

Willy?

@@HansDelbruck53 Billy is short for William, which could also be shortened to Willy. or Gilly for that matter, as was popular to do in the middle ages.

@@graxjpg I'm aware of that, as most people are. But I'd never heard that moniker applied to Mr. Connolly. My best friend named William has gone by Bill for close to 70 years. He claims that he's been Bill all the way back to the Middle Ages.

Billy is an astonishing cornucopia of definable human traits... funny, intelligent, unabashed and unique. A kind of cross between George Carlin and Robin Williams with a Scottish accent. He is an absolute treasure.

The Mount Rushmore of comedy would be George Carlin, Richard Pryor, Robin Williams and Billy Connolly.

I'm not sure whether the Americans "got" Billy's soh & charisma 😂 But he's perfectly natural and doesn't act or pretend in front of a camera for anyone! .... and despite his working class upbringing, Billy is supremely intelligent and equal to any successful university graduate. I'd bet my house on him if Billy versus Posh got into a debate argument about anything 😉
