This is such an insightful video! It’s a great reminder of how important it is to start retirement planning early. I’ve been working with my financial advisor to structure a portfolio that balances growth and income. It’s made me realize how critical professional guidance can be when navigating complex decisions like asset allocation.

Question #5 - How would you like me to help? We sure can get ahead of ourselves by assuming and moving into action with what WE THINK the prospect/client is in need of, when in fact it maybe wrong. What a refreshing way to take pause and hear clarity in the conversation. Thanks for your video!

Retirement becomes truly fulfilling when you possess two essential elements: simple financial resources and a meaningful purpose in life. Make prudent investment choices to secure good returns and ensure a comfortable retirement. My question now is how to get a good fianancail advisor that I can invest with and have good returns before retirement age .

Is being an advisor hard and stressful?
@Dragcnborn Жыл бұрын
@@olympicsniperxx5017 Yes but it can be very rewarding! if you are confident navigating hard conversations and okay will sales pressure its a great job. If you like the markets and are steered towards the money go into analytics, as an advisor your only goal should be to understand the client do the right thing, and you will meet a lot of resistance because people are scared of money and what is symbolizes. Confidence, transparency and people skills will get you pretty far, everything else can be learned pretty quickly.

Thank you for this video. I’m jumping over from the associate role to FA now however I feel so green that I feel even after asking these questions I won’t be able to identify the right solutions mainly due to lack of product knowledge. What would you advise me? Agreed a discord would be an amazing tool for this.

Hey do you have any advice for a young person going in for an interview for a financial advisor apprentice at a well known bank?
@davezoller3 жыл бұрын
Great question. I haven't interviewed with a bank before but I guess my advice would be the same for any interview. Go into the interview with a heart to serve both the clients and the advisors you'll be assisting. Find out if the do real financial planning instead of just selling products to clients. Other advisors have told me that when the bank is focused on product sales rather than assisting clients with real financial planning, then it becomes a grind. I'm not sure if that's helpful but that's what comes to mind.

I'm looking for a financial advisor and have an appt tomorrow. I don't like these questions. They sound like you want me to do all the work figuring out the problem. A better question would be - Tell me about yourself and why you came to see me now. What areas do you feel you need help with?

The first question a financial advisor ask is, how much money do you have? I charge one percent and can’t be bothered with you if your broke. A financial advisor is not your friend, he is only helping you to make money!
