I’m just basing my comparison on nation alone, so I’d say the MI-24 is the T-34 and the UH-1 is the Sherman, if you want an attack chopper instead the AH-1 deviated from the UH-1.

My comment on the 20mm cannon at 0250 regarding the XDM is not correct. The XDM initially tested the XC-20 which was replaced by the GI-20 which is the same gun as the Ratel 20.

Mainly China since it would have actual new machines, whereas Sweden would just be a clone of the German heli tree except with an Apache at the top. But if helis are going to exist, every nation should have a heli tree.

If you did not know Sweden never used helicopters in a combat way. So all they used never carried nor had any weapons. Plus China is a difficult country to find info helis on. Due to the fact China recently just started really use if helicopters to its full portential.

The priorities when it comes to helicopters should be China (since they don't have any at all in the game yet), Sweden (same, though lower priority since there's so little to add), and Italy (since they don't so much have a helicopter tech tree as a helicopter tech sapling, which desperately needs fleshing out).

It was heavily classified during apartheid but now it is declassified to a degree. But considering its current government are corrupted, things do get out of hands for political reasons.

Because if you want to turn something into a product for commercial sale you havto let potential buyers know what the product is all about. Right now the biggest seller is the G6 self-propelled howetzer system which has no equal in the world but if it wasn't for Sadam Hussain that used them in the Iraqi war and they weren't the first 6 target's Bomed the Americans in their billion dollars stealth plains people still wouldn't know about it. The rooivalk is highly competitive and cheaper then the Apache and other's also we won't install electronic counter measures to your murder craft that will emobelise it if you decide to fight an opponent we don't approve of .

im disappointed how they implemented south africa. they shouldve made it an entirely new nation, just basically foldered with britain. when you click on the folder, the tech tree shows up with separated ladders of the tree so that theyre not all in a single line. they could have separated these vehicles tier by tier and be pretty empty. though this will create the illusion that this is just a really boring mini nation, the catch would be that you could get both of those nations vehicles in the same lineup. then south africa would look more distinct and there could be a lot of other minor nations/commonwealth nations added. if there were say, east and west germany the vehicles should be separated in their respective trees. this would allow for space for stuff like the t34/85, t55a, t72 and mig 21 bis DDR while the f4 phantom could be in the west german tree. match maker would make these nations go against each other, and you can't crew these two nations together simply due to balance issues, but this is what creates the space for the mentioned vehicles.

The Rooivalk should be in the french tech tree, having mostly french tech in it. A South African helicopter TT would make even less sense in the british tree than the ground TT.
