I don't know why the person who has put up the song has forgotten to mention that Salil Chowdhury scored this most haunting song. Just listen to the orchestration, and the sublime heights to which Lata Mangeshkar's voice in the background rises. This is one of Salil babu's lesser known songs, but a gem.
