Poor Beau ,he was young and came to protect this nest when Gabby had lost Samson!! Must be his first female partner and he does protect her from visitors at all cost!! Gabby is a hard nut to crack ..hopefully she makes her right choices and even if it's heartbreaking Beau needs to move on! She may have known Beau as a protector and companion.. I do wish her to have a lovely family,Beau knew she's not into him but he stays faithful! We can only give our blessings with no fights from Beau!! I recall Beau bringing in a huge fish to the nest and waiting for a few hours for Gabby to arrive and eat it (I think it was in late Feb.). He clearly loves her so much! Such a loyal and handsome young eagle, he deserves a happy life!

Not sure why everyone is so sad for Beau, it's still very early in the season. When the time is right and nesting/mating hormones kick in gear we will see things begin to progress between Gabby and her mate of choice . Just relax and let the eagles handle this 🦅❤️💙🦅

Just my opinion but this is very much an unsettled nest. I don’t think Gabby and Beau were ever bonded. I think this “visitor” lives close by and she has always had something going on with him. I think AEF prematurely named Beau as I don’t think the eggs were even his. Not sure what the future holds - none of us do. Was hoping this would have been settled prior to this season. I do feel badly for Beau but it’s up to Gabby to decide who she wants

Hi Flyfree that is correct. The nesting season has not even officially started yet - it will Oct.1st and it is too early. Hormones will kick in next month.
