Ohhhhh.... there was NOTHING likable about Joffrey. He played it too good for his own good... Ramsey Bolton, on the other hand, being a more accomplished 'creep" than Joffrey, maybe because of his age and position. As much as I hated Ramsey, there was something "engaging" about his glib treacherous charming machinations that Joffrey had NONE of. It was so satisfying to witness Joffrey's poisoned face, I had to keep reminding myself that he was ONLY an actor.

I couldnt imagine anyone else as Robert Baratheon than Mark Addy... Also Conleth Hill was born to play Varys like come on UPDATE: I have read the books now. Wtf were they thinking when casting Mark Addy ?! That man is a solid 5ft compared to the original Robert. The only similarities are their equal amounts of wife slapping belly-fat on them. Yep. The entire Lannister family, including Jack Gleeson as Joffrey were perfect.

I think Richard Dormer as Beric Dondarrion and Liam Cunningham as Davos Seaworth are good supporting cast mentions.

Peter Bone MP Iain Glen doesn’t look like Jorah at all, but he definitely acts the way Jorah does. I think Iain’s appearance is an improvement on the books in terms of someone Dany would so easily gravitate towards.

I have followed Diana Rigg's career from The Avengers right on through Game of Thrones. Olenna Tyrell was a fitting epitaph and I can't imagine anyone more perfectly cast as the Queen of Thorns. She and Charles Dance were the best actors on the show.

Yes, his pet turtles killing each other when he was aboy gave him the idea for a Song of Ice and Fire. He also wrote of a telepath called the "Great and Mighty Turtle" who according to him he resembles most of all his characters.

I thought the Starbucks cup fulfilled its role gallantly - I didn't see a single drop of liquid on the table - not even a wet ring under the cup! That's excellent work. No coasters needed.

The cast played each character incredibly good. The writing was the betrayal by season 8. D&D are the enemy of GOT.
