This is all headcanon. Aegon is the father of Maelor and If Maelor ever exist in the show, then he was definitly produced before Rooks Rest, it can perfectly make sense. Plus Aemond is going to Harrenhal and will not return to the capital. Which means he will end up with Alys and have his son from the book.

I strongly doubt that Helaena ever had sexual contact with Aemond, that's not the chemistry between them. She isn't in love of any of her brothers and she doesn't seem to be a quite sexual person (compared with the rest). But if the writers decide to include Maelor finally and he happens to be the child of Aemond, I'm afraid that Helaena would be forced somehow by his brother...

i think it depends on season 3 plotline changes. i dont think theyre going to write same thing again and i dont think they will prefer to show that type of thing (her marriage with aegon was abusive too and aemond cares helaena differently, confirmed by showrunners) and there was lack of screentime. the book and the show are vastly different, probably so many things will be different again in season 3.

@@jaa1413There is no way Aemond be the father of Maelor. Plus Phia already confirmed Helaena havaing an affair with Aemond never was in the script. So maybe Maelor was conceived before Aegon get burned at Rook's Rest. Plus her mariage with Aegon isn't abusive at all. If it was then Alicent would be the first to kill Aegon in his sleep and Helaena wouldn't say "except when he is drunk" so openly with everyone laughing in the background. Those words only mean that Aegon didn't have interest in her and he need to be drunk(like to forget he is f--ing his sister). Plus just look at their dynamic in S2 episode 1. Aegon really cares for her as a sister.

Aegon is the father of the 3 kids as he is in the book. Aegon and Helaena could have conceived Maelor before his departure to Rook's Rest. Plus jusdging Aemond and Helaena's interaction in the final, how can anyone believe that they could have an affair?😂

@@Film_Paradise After what happened in the final?? I don't think Aemond would try anything with her after that scene. If Helaena is pregnant in season 3 then Aegon is the father because it could have happened before Rook's Rest battle.

they had jaehaerys and jaehaera only. in the show, maelor doesnt exist (yet, according to showrunner) she cant get pregnant by aegon because aegon lost his ability and ran away too if maelor will exist i think they’re going to merge aemond’s bastard and him as one character

@@jaa1413Aemond is on his way to Harrenhall and he won't return. Aegon and Helaena could have perfectly conceived Maelor before Rook's Rest. It makes perfectly sense.

Sorry to break your fanfic/delulu but Maelor IS Aegon heir and Helaegon youngest child. He was lowkey introduced in s1 ep.9 opening credit, when Helaena and Aegon bloodline connected to 3; Jaehaerys, Jaehaera and Maelor. I also believe he was conceived before rook rest or she might be pregnant since last season.

Yep me and this doesn't make sense. Aegon is the father of the 3 kids in the Book and Aemond has a son with Alys. So Aegon and Helaena could have conceived Maelor before his departure to Rook's Rest.
